Description
豚、牛及び/若しくは馬由来、好ましくは豚由来、特に豚皮膚由来であることが好ましい。前述の特性を有するコラーゲン材料は、メディケマ(登録商標)ゲーエムベーハー、ケムニッツ、ドイツを介して商業的に取得可能である。
本発明に係る創傷被覆材と本発明ではない創傷被覆材を比較するために、本発明に係る創傷被覆材のいろいろな例と比較用創傷被覆材が準備された。
・ 創傷被覆材A及びA’は、それぞれ2つのポリアミド系布状材料の間に配置されたコラーゲン層及び活性炭層を有したこと、
・ 同様に、創傷被覆材B及びB’は、それぞれ2つのポリアミド系布状支持材料の間に配置されたコラーゲン層及び活性炭層を有し、さらにコラーゲン層と活性炭層の両方は、オクテニジンで処理されたこと、且つ、
・ 同様に、創傷被覆材Cは、それぞれ2つのポリアミド系布状支持材料の間に配置されたコラーゲン層及び活性炭層を有し、さらにコラーゲン層と活性炭層の両方は、ポリヘキサニドで処理されたこと。
・ 創傷被覆材Dは、標準の活性炭不織布に基づいたものであったこと;
・ 創傷被覆材Eは、ポリヘキサニド含浸ポリウレタン発泡体に基づいたものであったこと;且つ、
・ 創傷被覆材Fは、コラーゲン発泡体のみに基づいたものであったこと。
特に慢性創傷での極端な課題である病院細菌に対するいろいろな創傷被覆材の有効性をテストするために、創傷被覆材の抗菌性能が、抑制地帯テストに関して研究された。
本発明による創傷被覆材と、本発明によらない創傷被覆材の有効性を比較するために、慢性若しくは壊死性の創傷を煩う70歳〜85歳のテスト被験者が、4週間にわたっていずれかで処置された。このために、それぞれの創傷被覆材は、身体の患部に貼り付けられた。処置期間の第1週において、創傷被覆材は、朝と夕とに交換された。2週間を超えて、創傷被覆材の交換は、関連した創傷の状態に基づいて効果をもたらした。さらに、創傷治癒が進むについて被覆材の交換期間を長くし、すべての場合で、被覆材の交換は、いくら遅くとも2日後に実施された。
全体的に、本発明に係る創傷被覆材が、静菌性及び殺菌性処理若しくは特性を介して及び/若しくは活性炭とコラーゲンの組合せを介して、本発明でない創傷被覆材といろいろと比較されて改善されたことが実験例から明らかである。これによって、治療的創傷ケアのための本発明に係る創傷被覆材の使用によって、創傷治癒過程が十分に促進される。さらに、特に病院細菌に対する優れた汚染防護であって、創傷領域における構成物質及びその発生に対して抵抗するものが、治療における例外的な要求を突きつけるものである。さらに本発明に係る創傷被覆材は、良好な臭気吸着特性を有し、上述したものすべては患者の健康のためになるものである。
Claims (13)
- 治療的創傷ケアのための創傷被覆材において、
前記創傷被覆材が、多層構造を有すること、
・該多層構造が、少なくとも1つの親水コロイドを含む少なくとも1つの層、及び
・少なくとも1つの活性炭を含有する層を具備すること、
前記活性炭含有層は、球状活性炭であること、且つ、
前記活性炭含有層の活性炭が、活性炭の合計細孔容量に基づいて、少なくとも60%の2nm以下の細孔直径を有するミクロ細孔から形成されたミクロ細孔容量含有量を有することを特徴とする創傷被覆材。 - 前記親水コロイド層の親水コロイドは、多糖類及びプロテインからなる群から選択されることを特徴とする請求項1記載の創傷被覆材。
- 前記親水コロイド層の親水コロイドは、コラーゲン、セルロース及びセルロース誘導体、グリコサミノグリカン、ペクチン、アラビアゴム、ガラクトマンナン、寒天、カラギーン、アルギン酸塩、ゼラチン、カゼイン塩、キサンタン、デキストラン及びスクレログルカンからなる群から選択されることを特徴とする請求項1又は2記載の創傷被覆材。
- 前記親水コロイド層の親水コロイドは、コラーゲンから選択されることを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれか1つに記載の創傷被覆材。
- 親水コロイドを具備する層は、親水コロイド不織布若しくは親水コロイド発泡体を具備することを特徴とする請求項1〜4のいずれか1つに記載の創傷被覆材。
- 親水コロイドを具備する層が、創傷被覆材の外部層を形成すること、且つ、
創傷被覆材の使用状態において、親水コロイドを具備する層は、治療されるべき創傷に対面する創傷被覆材の側面に配置されることを特徴とする請求項1〜5のいずれか1つに記載の創傷被覆材。 - 親水コロイド具備する層は、0.01〜100mmの範囲内の厚さを有すること、且つ、親水コロイドを具備する層が、創傷被覆材の合計厚さの5%〜95%に形成されることを特徴とする請求項1〜6のいずれか1つに記載の創傷被覆材。
- 前記活性炭含有層は、0.01〜3mmの範囲内の絶対粒子サイズを有する球状活性炭を具備すること、且つ、ASTM D2862−97/04による標準測定法によって測定された0.05〜2.5mmの範囲内の平均粒子サイズを有する球状活性炭を具備することを特徴とする請求項1〜7のいずれか1つに記載の創傷被覆材。
- 前記活性炭含有層の活性炭が、
・活性炭の合計細孔容量に基づいて、60%〜95%の範囲内の2nm以下の細孔直径を有するミクロ細孔から形成されたミクロ細孔容量含有量;
・0.40cm3/g〜2cm3/gの範囲内の2nm以下の細孔直径を有するミクロ細孔から形成されたミクロ細孔容量含有量;
・活性炭の特定の合計表面積(BET)に基づいて、少なくとも50%の2nm以下の細孔直径を有する細孔からなる所定のミクロ細孔表面積;
・500〜3,000m2/gの範囲内のBET表面積;
・0.1〜4cm3/gの範囲内の総細孔量;
・10N〜50Nの範囲内の活性炭粒子毎の重量負荷能力;
・少なくとも2.3のフラクタル次元の開放気孔率;
からなる特性の少なくとも1つによって特徴付けられることを特徴とする請求項1〜8のいずれか1つに記載の創傷被覆材。 - 前記活性炭含有層の活性炭は、摩耗抵抗を有し及び埃のない球状活性炭粒子からなること、且つ、
前記活性炭含有層の活性炭は、殺菌性若しくは静菌性効果を有することを特徴とする請求項1〜9のいずれか1つに記載の創傷被覆材。 - 前記活性炭含有層の活性炭は、1〜1,000g/m2の量において存在することを特徴とする請求項1〜10のいずれか1つに記載の創傷被覆材。
- 前記活性炭含有層の活性炭は、平面若しくは三次元布状支持体上に設けられること、又は、
前記活性炭含有層の活性炭は、第1の布状材料及び第2の布状材料の間に配置されることを特徴とする請求項1〜11のいずれか1つに記載の創傷被覆材。 - 前記創傷被覆材は、抗菌作用活性物質、殺菌活性物質、炎症抑制物質、止血活性物質及び創傷治癒促進活性物質の群から選択された少なくとも1つの活性物質を含むことを特徴とする請求項1〜12のいずれか1つに記載の創傷被覆材。
