Description
(1)前記加熱は、前記受光面側透明保護部材側から行う。
(2)前記積層体を、1.0×103Pa〜5.0×107Paの範囲の圧力で加圧する。
上述したように、本発明において受光面側封止膜は、裏面側着色封止膜よりも薄いものを使用する。具体的には、受光面側封止膜の厚さは、0.3〜0.55mmであることが好ましく、また、裏面側着色封止膜の厚さは、0.55〜1.2mmであることが好ましい。この範囲であれば、確実に回り込みを防止することが可能となる。なお、受光面側封止膜として、厚さが0.55mmの封止膜を使用する場合には、裏面側着色封止膜は0.55mmより厚い封止膜を使用する。
本発明の太陽電池に使用される受光面側透明保護部材は、通常珪酸塩ガラスなどのガラス基板等を使用することができる。受光面側透明保護部材の厚さは、0.1〜10mmが一般的であり、0.3〜5mmが好ましい。受光面側透明保護部材は、一般に、化学的に、或いは熱的に強化させたものであってもよい。
本発明で使用される裏面側保護部材は、ポリエチレンテレフタレート(PET)やポリアミドなどのプラスチックフィルムが好ましく用いられる。また、耐熱性、耐湿熱性を考慮してフッ化ポリエチレンフィルム、特にフッ化ポリエチレンフィルム/Al/フッ化ポリエチレンフィルムをこの順で積層させたフィルムや、ポリフッ化ビニル(商品名:テドラー)/PET/ポリフッ化ビニルをこの順で積層させたフィルムでも良い。
太陽電池モジュールに用いられる発電素子は、光電変換を行うものであり、従来公知の半導体基板が用いられる。半導体基板としては、単結晶、多結晶、あるいは非晶質によって構成された光半導体素子などが用いられる。具体的には、非晶質シリコンa−Si,水素化非晶質シリコンa−Si:H,水素化非晶質シリコンカーバイドa−SiC:H,非晶質シリコンナイトライドなどの他、シリコンと炭素、ゲルマニウム、スズなどの他の元素との合金から成る非晶質シリコン系半導体の非晶質あるいは微結晶をpin型、nip型、ni型、pn型、MIS型、ヘテロ接合型、ホモ接合型、ショットキーバリアー型あるいはこれらを組み合わせた型などに構成した半導体層が用いられる。その他、光半導体層はCdS系、GaAs系、InP系などであってもよい。
以下、本発明の太陽電池モジュールの製造方法における加圧加熱工程について説明する。
下記配合の材料をロールミルに供給し、70℃で混練した。これにより得られた封止膜用組成物を70℃でカレンダ成形し、表1〜5に示す各厚さの受光面側封止膜(230mm×230mm)をそれぞれ作製した。
・エチレン−酢酸ビニル共重合体(酢酸ビニル含量:26質量%、MFR:4.3g/10分) 100質量部
・架橋剤(2,5−ジメチル−2,5−ジ(t−ブチルパーオキシ)ヘキサン)
(パーヘキサ25B:日本油脂製) 1.3質量部
・架橋助剤(トリアリルイソシアヌレート)
(TAIC:日本化成製) 1.5質量部
・シランカップリング剤(γ−メタクリロキシプロピルトリメトキシシラン)
(KBM503:信越化学製) 0.5質量部
下記配合の材料をロールミルに供給し、70℃で混練した。これにより得られた封止膜用組成物を70℃でカレンダ成形し、表1〜5に示す各厚さの裏面側着色封止膜(230×230mm)をそれぞれ作製した。

受光面側透明保護部材(白板強化ガラス(エンボス付)、230mm×230mm×3.2mm)/上記受光面側封止膜/発電素子(単結晶シリコンセル:125mm×125mm、厚さ:220μm)/上記裏面側着色封止膜/裏面側保護部材(イソボルタ社製TPT(テドラー/PET/テドラー:型番2442)、厚さ:350μm)の順で積層した後、この積層体を、ダイヤフラムを備える二重真空室方式真空ラミネータにて、145℃において、真空時間5分、圧力0.1MPa、プレス時間15分で接着一体化し、太陽電池モジュールを作製した。
・回り込み度の測定
作製した太陽電池モジュールについて、裏面側着色封止膜の発電素子の受光面上への回り込み度を測定した。回り込み度の測定は、発電素子の端部から裏面側着色封止膜が最も回り込んだ箇所までの長さ(mm)をスケールで計測することにより行った。
各表に示されているように、受光面側封止膜の厚さが裏面側着色封止膜の厚さよりも薄い場合には、回り込みが少ないことが示された。特に、厚さ比が1.60〜3.00の場合や厚さの差が0.50〜0.90mmの場合には、回り込みが顕著に抑制されることが示された。

Claims (3)
- 受光面側透明保護部材、受光面側封止膜、発電素子、裏面側着色封止膜及び裏面側保護部材をこの順で積層することにより積層体を得、該積層体を加圧及び加熱することにより一体化する工程を含む太陽電池モジュールの製造方法において、
前記受光面側封止膜として、前記裏面側着色封止膜よりも薄い封止膜を使用し、
前記受光面側封止膜の厚さが、0.3〜0.55mmであり、
前記裏面側着色封止膜の厚さが、0.55〜1.2mmであり、
前記受光面側封止膜の厚さに対する前記裏面側着色封止膜の厚さの比が、1.25〜3.00の範囲にあり、
前記裏面側着色封止膜の厚さと前記受光面側封止膜の厚さの差が0.4〜0.9mmであり、
前記裏面側着色封止膜は、一つの層からなる膜であり、
前記受光面側封止膜及び前記裏面側着色封止膜は、エチレン−酢酸ビニル共重合体及び架橋剤を含み、
前記受光面側封止膜及び裏面側着色封止膜に含まれるエチレン−酢酸ビニル共重合体の酢酸ビニル含有量が24〜28質量%であり、
前記裏面側着色封止膜は白色着色剤を含み、
前記積層体を、80〜150℃の範囲の温度に加熱することを特徴とする太陽電池モジュールの製造方法。 - 前記加熱は、前記受光面側透明保護部材側から行うことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の太陽電池モジュールの製造方法。
- 前記積層体を、1.0×103Pa〜5.0×107Paの範囲の圧力で加圧することを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の太陽電池モジュールの製造方法。
