実施例及び比較例1により製造された偏光板サンプルのカール(curl)の発生程度を肉眼で測定した。図5は比較例1により製造された偏光板を撮影した写真で、図6は実施例により製造された偏光板を撮影した写真である。
実施例及び比較例1により製造された偏光板を、横と縦が各々5cmの大きさで裁断してから、厚さ1.1mmのガラス基板上に貼り合せた後、60℃の水槽に浸して耐水性の評価を行った。
実施例及び比較例2により製造された偏光板をねじれネマティック方式(Twisted Nematic、TN)画像表示装置に装着した後、コントラスト比(Contrast Ratio、CR)を測定した。コントラスト比(以下CR)は、画面の鮮かさを示す画像表示装置の明暗比で、CR値が高いほど、画像表示装置の光学性能に優れることを示す。
実施例、比較例2及び比較例3により製作された偏光板を面内スイッチング方式(In−Plane Switching、IPS)の画像表示装置に装着した後、黒輝度(black luminance、Lb)の逆数、即ち、Lb−1の分布を測定した。
接着剤樹脂の粘度による偏光板物性を評価するため、下記[表1]に示したような粘度を有する接着剤樹脂組成物を利用して実施例1と同じ構造の偏光板を製造し、溶解度、乾燥効率、工程性及び直交透過度比を測定した。

Claims (25)
- 偏光素子と、
前記偏光素子の一方の面に形成される第1接着剤層と、
前記偏光素子の他方の面に形成される第2接着剤層と、
前記第1接着剤層を介して前記偏光素子の前記一方の面側に付着される保護フィルムと、
前記第2接着剤層を介して前記偏光素子の前記他方の面側に形成される粘着層と
を含み、
前記粘着層は、モジュラスが異なる第1粘着層及び第2粘着層からなり、
前記第1粘着層が前記第2接着剤層に付着され、
前記第1粘着層はモジュラスが100〜400MPaで、
