Description
a.緑色フィルタ層を有する緑色フィルタ(ただし緑色フィルタ層には、600nm〜700nmの1つの波長に最大吸収率を有する第1の顔料と、400〜500nmの1つの波長に最大吸収率を有する第2の顔料が含まれていて、第1の顔料粒子の少なくとも90体積%が300nm未満の粒径であり、第2の顔料粒子の少なくとも90体積%が300nm未満の粒径であり、この緑色フィルタ層は、520nmの波長で透過率が60%以上であり、480nmの波長で透過率が10%以下であり、590nmの波長で透過率が10%以下である)と;
b.青色フィルタ層を有する青色フィルタと;
c.赤色フィルタ層を有する赤色フィルタを備えていて;
d.この電子式ディスプレイによって規定される色域の%NTSCx, y比が88%よりも大きい、電子式ディスプレイによって達成される。

PcAl--O--[POR]n-AlPc (2)
ただしPcは置換されたフタロシアニン環または置換されていないフタロシアニン環を表わし、Rはアルキル基、アリール基、アラルキル基のいずれかを表わし、nは0〜4である。これら顔料のより完全な説明に関してはアメリカ合衆国特許第4,311,775号を参照のこと。シロキサンが架橋した有用な1つのアルミニウムフタロシアニンは、ビス(フタロシアニルアルミノ)テトラフェニルジシロキサンである(Pcは置換されておらず、Rはフェニルであり、nは2である以下の構造式(3))。ビス(フタロシアニルアルミノ)テトラフェニルジシロキサンを銅フタロシアニンとヒドロキシアルミニウムフタロシアニンの一方または両方と混合したものも使用できるが、そのための条件は、ビス(フタロシアニルアルミノ)テトラフェニルジシロキサンがこの混合物に少なくとも80質量%含まれていることである。
ΔCIEx, y = [(x1 - xNTSC)2 + (y1 - yNTSC)2]1/2
によって計算することができる。

Claims (15)
- 光源とカラー・フィルタ・セットを備える電子式ディスプレイであって、そのカラー・フィルタ・セットが、下記a〜c:
a.緑色フィルタ層を有する、広帯域発光OLED素子用の緑色フィルタであって、
緑色フィルタ層には、
1)600nm〜700nmの1つの波長に最大吸収率を有する第1の顔料であって、第1の顔料粒子の少なくとも90体積%が50nm未満の粒径であり、かつ、第1の顔料粒子の10体積%以下が5nm未満の粒径であるものと、
2)400〜500nmの1つの波長に最大吸収率を有する第2の顔料であって、第2の顔料粒子の少なくとも90体積%が50nm未満の粒径であり、かつ、第2の顔料粒子の10体積%以下が5nm未満の粒径であるものと
が含まれ、該緑色フィルタ層は、520nmの波長で透過率が60%以上であり、480nmの波長で透過率が10%以下であり、590nmの波長で透過率が10%以下であり、
さらに該緑色フィルタ層の透過率ピークの半値幅は80nm以下である、緑色フィルタと;
b.青色フィルタ層を有する青色フィルタと;
c.赤色フィルタ層を有する赤色フィルタと
を含み、かつ、該電子式ディスプレイによって規定される色域の%NTSCx, y比が88%よりも大きい、電子式ディスプレイ。 - 前記緑色フィルタ層の透過率が、593〜700nmの波長範囲にわたり1%未満であり、かつ、480〜400nmの波長範囲にわたり1%未満である、請求項1に記載の電子式ディスプレイ。
- 前記第1の顔料粒子の10体積%以下が10.4nm未満の粒径であり、かつ、前記第2の顔料粒子の10体積%以下が7.4nm未満の粒径である、請求項1に記載の電子式ディスプレイ。
- 前記第1の顔料が、架橋したアルミニウムフタロシアニンである、請求項1に記載の電子式ディスプレイ。
- 前記緑色フィルタ層が、CIE標準光源D65を用いて1931 CIE XYZ測色システムの色度座標(x, y)を計算したときに0.19≦x≦0.24、0.68≦y≦0.72を満たしている、請求項1に記載の電子式ディスプレイ。
- 光源とカラー・フィルタ・セットを備える電子式ディスプレイであって、そのカラー・フィルタ・セットが、下記a〜c:
a.緑色フィルタ層を有する緑色フィルタと;
b.青色フィルタ層を有する、広帯域発光OLED素子用の青色フィルタであって、
青色フィルタ層には、
1)550nm〜650nmの1つの波長に最大吸収率を有する第1の顔料であって、第1の顔料粒子の少なくとも90体積%が50nm未満の粒径であり、かつ、第1の顔料粒子の10体積%以下が5nm未満の粒径であるものと、
2)500〜600nmの1つの波長に最大吸収率を有する第2の顔料であって、第2の顔料粒子の少なくとも90体積%が50nm未満の粒径であり、かつ、第2の顔料粒子の10体積%以下が5nm未満の粒径であるものと
が含まれ、該青色フィルタ層は、450nmの波長で透過率が60%以上であり、515〜700nmの範囲のすべての波長で透過率が10%以下である、青色フィルタと;
c.赤色フィルタ層を有する赤色フィルタと
を含み、かつ、該電子式ディスプレイによって規定される色域の%NTSCx, y比が70%よりも大きい、電子式ディスプレイ。 - 前記青色フィルタ層の透過率が、526〜700nmの波長範囲にわたり1.5%以下である、請求項6に記載の電子式ディスプレイ。
- 前記第1の顔料粒子の10体積%以下が10.0nm未満の粒径であり、かつ、前記第2の顔料粒子の10体積%以下が9.3nm未満の粒径である、請求項6に記載の電子式ディスプレイ。
- 前記第1の顔料が、メタロフタロシアニン顔料である、請求項6に記載の電子式ディスプレイ。
- 前記第2の顔料が、ジオキサジン顔料である、請求項6に記載の電子式ディスプレイ。
- 前記青色フィルタ層が、CIE標準光源D65を用いて1931 CIE XYZ測色システムの色度座標(x, y)を計算したときに0.134≦x≦0.15、0.03≦y≦0.06を満たしている、請求項6に記載の電子式ディスプレイ。
- 光源とカラー・フィルタ・セットを備える電子式ディスプレイであって、そのカラー・フィルタ・セットが、下記a〜c:
a.緑色フィルタ層を有する緑色フィルタと;
b.青色フィルタ層を有する青色フィルタと;
c.赤色フィルタ層を有する、広帯域発光OLED素子用の赤色フィルタであって、
赤色フィルタ層には、450nm〜575nmの範囲内の1つの波長に最大吸収率を有する単一種類の顔料であって、該顔料粒子の少なくとも90体積%が50nm未満の粒径であり、かつ、該顔料粒子の10体積%以下が5nm未満の粒径であるものが含まれ、該赤色フィルタ層は、650nmの波長で透過率が80%以上であり、585nmの波長で透過率が10%以下であり、580〜410nmの波長範囲にわたり2%以下である、赤色フィルタと
を含み、かつ、該電子式ディスプレイによって規定される色域の%NTSCx, y比が70%よりも大きい、電子式ディスプレイ。 - 前記赤色フィルタ層の透過率が、580〜406nmの波長範囲にわたり0.5%未満である、請求項12に記載の電子式ディスプレイ。
- 前記顔料粒子の10体積%以下が11.4nm未満の粒径である、請求項12に記載の電子式ディスプレイ。
- 前記赤色フィルタ層が、CIE標準光源D65を用いて1931 CIE XYZ測色システムの色度座標(x, y)を計算したときに0.665≦x≦0.68、0.30≦y≦0.34を満たしている、請求項12に記載の電子式ディスプレイ。
