Description
Claims (4)
- 光ファイバを切断する光ファイバカッタにおいて、
前記光ファイバを保持するファイバホルダを位置決めするホルダガイド部を有するカッタ基体と、
前記カッタ基体に前記光ファイバの切断が開始されるカット開始位置と前記光ファイバの切断が完了するカット完了位置との間で移動可能に取り付けられ、前記カット開始位置から前記カット完了位置に戻るときに前記光ファイバに傷を付ける刃部材を有するスライダと、
前記カッタ基体に開閉可能に取り付けられ、前記カッタ基体に対して閉じることで前記スライダを前記カット開始位置から前記カット完了位置に戻すように移動させるカッタ蓋体と、
前記カッタ基体に設けられ、前記スライダが前記カット開始位置から前記カット完了位置に戻る回数をカウント表示するためのカウント表示機構と、
前記ファイバホルダが前記ホルダガイド部にセットされたときのみ、前記カウント表示機構によるカウント動作を有効化させるように、前記カウント表示機構を機械的に制御する制御手段とを備えることを特徴とする光ファイバカッタ。 - 前記制御手段は、前記ホルダガイド部に設けられ、前記ファイバホルダが前記ホルダガイド部にセットされると押される爪部材と、前記爪部材が押されている状態で前記スライダが前記カット開始位置から前記カット完了位置に戻るときのみ、前記カウント表示機構を1カウント分に相当する角度だけ回転させる回転駆動手段とを有することを特徴とする請求項1記載の光ファイバカッタ。
- 前記回転駆動手段は、前記スライダに設けられた突起部と、前記爪部材に連動して回動するように前記カッタ基体に設けられ、前記爪部材が押されたときに前記突起部と係合する係合部を有する回動部材と、前記カウント表示機構に取り付けられた補助ギアと、前記回動部材に設けられ、前記補助ギアと係合する係合片とを有することを特徴とする請求項2記載の光ファイバカッタ。
- 前記係合部は、前記爪部材が押されている状態において、前記突起部が前記カット開始位置から前記カット完了位置に向かうに従って前記回動部材を回動させるように傾斜した傾斜面を有し、
前記係合片の数は2つであり、
前記2つの係合片は、互いに異なる位置及びタイミングで前記補助ギアと係合することを特徴とする請求項3記載の光ファイバカッタ。
