Description
(1) 粉体を圧延することにより圧延シートを成形する圧延部と、前記圧延部の上方に形成され前記粉体を貯槽するホッパーと、前記圧延シートの幅方向に複数設けられ、前記ホッパーに前記粉体を供給するフィーダと、前記圧延部により成形された前記圧延シートの膜厚を示す値を幅方向に複数箇所測定する測定部と、前記複数箇所で測定された前記膜厚を示す値に基づいて前記幅方向の前記膜厚が一定の範囲となるように前記ホッパー内の前記幅方向の粉体の高さレベルを制御する制御部とを備えることを特徴とする粉体圧延装置、
(2) 前記ホッパー内に貯槽された前記粉体を前記幅方向に分画する仕切板を備え、前記制御部は、前記仕切板によって分画された区画毎に前記粉体の高さレベルを制御することを特徴とする(1)記載の粉体圧延装置、
(3) 前記フィーダは、前記区画毎に設けられることを特徴とする(2)記載の粉体圧延装置、
(4) 前記圧延部は、一対のロールを備え、前記測定部は、前記一対のロールの間隙の距離を測定することを特徴とする(1)〜(3)の何れかに記載の粉体圧延装置、

が提供される。
先ず結着材、および必要に応じて導電材、分散剤やその他の添加剤を含有するスラリーを得る。スラリーを得るために用いる溶媒として、最も好適には水が用いられるが、有機溶媒を用いることもできる。有機溶媒としては、例えば、メチルアルコール、エチルアルコール、プロピルアルコールなどのアルキルアルコール類;アセトン、メチルエチルケトンなどのアルキルケトン類;テトラヒドロフラン、ジオキサン、ジグライム等のエーテル類;ジエチルホルムアミド、ジメチルアセトアミド、N−メチル−2−ピロリドン(以下、NMPということがある。)、ジメチルイミダゾリジノン等のアミド類などが挙げられるが、アルキルアルコール類が好ましい。水よりも沸点の低い有機溶媒を併用すると、流動造粒時に、乾燥速度を速くすることができる。また、水よりも沸点の低い有機溶媒を併用すると、結着材の分散性又は溶解型樹脂の溶解性が変わると共に、スラリーの粘度や流動性を溶媒の量又は種類によって調製できるので、生産効率を向上させることができる。
まず、電極活物質、結着材を含有する複合粒子用スラリーを調製する。複合粒子用スラリーは、電極活物質、結着材、ならびに必要に応じて添加される導電材を、溶媒に分散又は溶解させることにより調製することができる。なお、この場合において、結着材が分散媒としての水に分散されたものである場合には、水に分散させた状態で添加することができる。
Claims (10)
- 粉体を圧延することにより圧延シートを成形する圧延部と、
前記圧延部の上方に形成され前記粉体を貯槽するホッパーと、
前記圧延シートの幅方向に複数設けられ、前記ホッパーに前記粉体を供給するフィーダと、
前記圧延部により成形された前記圧延シートの膜厚を示す値を幅方向に複数箇所測定する測定部と、
前記複数箇所で測定された前記膜厚を示す値に基づいて前記幅方向の前記膜厚が一定の範囲となるように前記ホッパー内の前記幅方向の粉体の高さレベルを制御する制御部と
を備えることを特徴とする粉体圧延装置。 - 前記ホッパー内に貯槽された前記粉体を前記幅方向に分画する仕切板を備え、
前記制御部は、前記仕切板によって分画された区画毎に前記粉体の高さレベルを制御することを特徴とする請求項1記載の粉体圧延装置。 - 前記フィーダは、前記区画毎に設けられることを特徴とする請求項2記載の粉体圧延装置。
- 前記圧延部は、一対のロールを備え、
前記測定部は、前記一対のロールの間隙の距離を測定することを特徴とする請求項1〜3の何れか一項に記載の粉体圧延装置。 - 前記測定部は、前記膜厚を測定することを特徴とする請求項1〜3の何れか一項に記載の粉体圧延装置。
- 粉体を圧延することにより圧延シートを成形する圧延ステップと、
前記圧延ステップにより成形された前記圧延シートの膜厚を示す値を前記圧延シートの幅方向に複数箇所測定する測定ステップと、
前記複数箇所で測定された前記膜厚を示す値に基づいて前記幅方向の前記膜厚が一定の範囲となるように、前記圧延シートの幅方向に複数設けられるフィーダから粉体を圧延することにより圧延シートを成形する圧延部の上方に形成され前記粉体を貯槽するホッパー内へ粉体を供給し、前記ホッパー内の前記幅方向の粉体の高さレベルを制御する制御ステップと
を含むことを特徴とする圧延シートの製造方法。 - 前記ホッパー内に貯槽された前記粉体を前記幅方向に分画する仕切板を備え、
前記制御ステップは、前記仕切板によって分画された区画毎に前記粉体の高さレベルを制御することを特徴とする請求項6記載の圧延シートの製造方法。 - 前記フィーダは、前記区画毎に設けられることを特徴とする請求項7記載の圧延シートの製造方法。
- 前記圧延ステップは、一対のロールにより前記粉体の圧延を行い、
前記測定ステップは、前記一対のロールの間隙の距離を測定することを特徴とする請求項6〜8の何れか一項に記載の圧延シートの製造方法。 - 前記測定ステップは、前記膜厚を測定することを特徴とする請求項6〜8の何れか一項に記載の圧延シートの製造方法。
