Description
先に説明されたハーフセルに与えられるプロトコルAは、以下のステップを備える:
− C/20−D/20における5充電及び放電サイクル、
− C/10−D/10レートにおける995充電及び放電サイクル。
E4−PAA/94−4/0、E4−PAA/94−4/2、E4−PAA/94−4/4、E4−PAA/94−4/8及びE4−PAA/94−4/10電極は、2.8mAhcm−2の坪量を有し、先に説明された第1の実施形態と同じプロトコルAを用いてLi金属/E4−PAA/94−4ハーフセルの中で試験される。プロトコルAは、エネルギー動作モードを持つリチウム蓄電池中の電極の電気化学的パフォーマンスを計算することを可能にする。
電極E5−PAA/94−4/0、E5−PAA/94−4/2及びE5−PAA/94−4/4は、1.1mAhcm−2の低い坪量を有し、例えば電流パルスといった高い充電及び放電レートに耐えるためのハーフセル容量を評価するために設計されたプロトコルBを用いて、Li金属/E5−PAA/94−4ハーフセルにおいて試験された。プロトコルBは、パワー動作モードを持つリチウム電池中の電極の電気化学的パフォーマンスを評価することを可能にする。
− C/20−D/20における5充電及び放電サイクル、
− C/10−D/10における5充電及び放電サイクル、
− C/5−D/5における5充電及び放電サイクル、
− C/2−D/2における5充電及び放電サイクル、
− C−Dにおける5充電及び放電サイクル、
− 2C−2Dにおける5充電及び放電サイクル、及び、
− 10C−10Dにおける5充電及び放電サイクル。
電気化学試験は、1,250,000gmol−1の平均分子量を持つ3.5重量%のポリアクリル酸を含む水溶液における、電圧−電流サイクルにおいて行われた。用いられる電位レンジは2.1Vから6.5Vの間であり、スキャニングレートは5mVs−1である。
Claims (10)
- 電気化学活性材料としてのLiFePO4と、ポリアクリル酸で構成された結合剤とを含むリチウム電池用電極であって、前記ポリアクリル酸は、1,250,000gmol−1以上、2,000,000gmol−1未満の平均分子量を有し、前記電極の全体重量に対して計算されたLiFePO4の重量パーセンテージは90%より大きく、ポリアクリル酸の重量パーセンテージは4%以下である、ことを特徴とする電極。
- 前記ポリアクリル酸の平均分子量は1,250,000gmol−1と等しいことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の電極。
- 前記電極は4mAhcm−2以上の坪量レートを有する請求項1又は2に記載の電極。
- 前記電極の全体重量に対して計算されたLiFePO4の重量パーセンテージは94%よりも大きく、ポリアクリル酸の重量パーセンテージは3%以下である、ことを特徴とする請求項1から3のいずれか1つに記載の電極。
- 前記電極の全体重量に対してポリアクリル酸の重量パーセンテージは3%未満であることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の電極。
- 導電体を有することを特徴とする請求項1から5のいずれか1つに記載の電極。
- 前記導電体は、カーボンブラック、カーボンファイバ及びこれらの混合物から選択される、ことを特徴とする請求項6に記載の電極。
- 3%未満の導電体を有することを特徴とする請求項6又は7に記載の電極。
- リチウム電池おける請求項1から8のいずれか1つに記載の電極の使用。
- 前記リチウム電池はリチウムイオン電池であることを特徴とする請求項9に記載の使用。
