Description
Claims (24)
- 内側曲線状表面によって画定されかつ縦軸(A−A)を有する実質的に円形の横断面のチャンバーと、前記チャンバー内への薬物搭載空気の流れのための前記チャンバーの一端にある吸入口であって、前記薬物搭載空気が前記吸入口を通って流れる、吸入口と、前記チャンバーの対向端にある吐出口であって、前記薬物搭載空気が、前記吸入口および前記吐出口の間にある前記チャンバーを通って、その後前記吐出口を通って前記チャンバーの外に流れる、吐出口と、接線方向の前記チャンバー内への清浄空気の流れのためのバイパス空気入口であって、前記バイパス空気入口が、前記バイパス空気入口を通って前記チャンバーに入る空気が、前記薬物搭載空気が前記吸入口と前記吐出口との間を流れる際に、前記薬物搭載空気と相互作用する、前記チャンバー内でのサイクロンを形成するように構成される、バイパス空気入口と、を有するエアロゾル化装置を含む、粉末薬剤の吸入可能なエアロゾルを作り出すための吸入器であって、前記吸入口が前記チャンバーの縦軸(A−A)と同軸であり、前記バイパス空気入口が、前記清浄空気が前記内側曲線状表面に対して接線方向に前記チャンバーに入り、かつ前記チャンバーの縦軸(A−A)の周りに前記サイクロンを形成し、前記薬物搭載空気が前記縦軸(A−A)に沿って前記吸入口と前記吐出口との間を流れるように、前記チャンバーの内側曲線状表面内に形成され、前記吸入器が基部を備え、前記吸入口が前記基部内に形成され、接線方向の前記バイパス空気入口が、前記基部に隣接した前記チャンバーの壁内に位置し、かつ弓形形状の流路から形成される、吸入器。
- 前記チャンバーが、前記薬物搭載空気流が前記吸入口から前記吐出口へ流れる際に前記薬物搭載空気流にらせん状の経路をとらせるように、前記サイクロンが前記薬物搭載空気流と相互作用するように構成される、請求項1に記載の吸入器。
- 前記チャンバーが先細りになっている、請求項1または2に記載の吸入器。
- 前記チャンバーが、前記吐出口から前記吸入口に向かって伸びる方向に先細りになっている、請求項3に記載の吸入器。
- 前記チャンバーが、前記吸入口から前記吐出口に向かって伸びる方向に先細りになっている、請求項3に記載の吸入器。
- 前記基部がメッシュ部分を含み、前記吸入口が前記メッシュ内の開口部によって形成される、請求項1乃至5のいずれかに記載の吸入器。
- 前記吸入口が、前記基部内に少なくとも1つの開口部を備える、請求項1乃至6のいずれかに記載の吸入器。
- 前記チャンバーが、前記基部に対向する前記チャンバーの他端にある1つの端壁を備え、前記吐出口が前記端壁内に形成される、請求項1乃至7のいずれかに記載の吸入器。
- 前記端壁がメッシュを備え、前記吐出口が前記メッシュ内の開口部から形成される、請求項8に記載の吸入器。
- 前記チャンバーが、前記吸入口から離れる方向に、前記端壁を越えて伸びる部分を有する、請求項8または9に記載の吸入器。
- 前記部分が、前記端壁から離れて外向きに先細りになり、ディフューザを形成する、請求項10に記載の吸入器。
- 前記基部が、接線方向の前記バイパス空気入口の側壁を形成している、請求項1乃至11のいずれかに記載の吸入器。
- 清浄バイパス空気の前記チャンバー内への流れのための少なくとも2つのバイパス空気入口を備える、請求項1乃至12のいずれかに記載の吸入器。
- 前記チャンバーがマウスピースの中に形成される、請求項1乃至13のいずれかに記載の吸入器。
- 前記チャンバーが前記マウスピースの中に受け入れられる別個の構成要素である、請求項14に記載の吸入器。
- 前記別個の構成要素が前記マウスピースから分離可能である、請求項15に記載の吸入器。
- 前記チャンバーの吐出口が別個のマウスピースに接続される、請求項1乃至13のいずれかに記載の吸入器。
- 1用量の薬剤を含むブリスターの蓋に穴をあけ、使用者が前記チャンバーを通して前記用量を吸入することを可能にするように動作可能なブリスター貫通要素を備える、請求項1乃至17のいずれかに記載の吸入器。
- 前記ブリスター貫通部材が、表面からまっすぐ伸びた貫通要素と、各々の貫通要素の近くにある前記表面から前記ブリスター貫通部材を通って伸びる清浄空気吸入流路および薬物搭載空気吐出流路と、を備え、前記貫通要素が、前記ブリスター内に清浄空気吸入開口部および薬物搭載空気吐出開口部を設けるように動作可能であり、それによって、使用者が吸入するときに、清浄空気が前記ブリスター貫通部材内の1つまたは複数の前記清浄空気吸入流路および前記ブリスター内の1つまたは複数の前記清浄空気吸入開口部を通って流れ、前記ブリスターに含まれる前記用量を取り込み、前記薬物搭載空気が前記ブリスター内の薬物搭載空気吐出開口部および前記ブリスター貫通部材内の薬物搭載空気吐出流路を通って前記ブリスターの外に流れる、請求項18に記載の吸入器。
- 前記薬物搭載空気流出路が前記チャンバーの吸入口と連通している、請求項19に記載の吸入器。
- 前記清浄空気吸入開口部が、前記薬物搭載空気吐出開口部を囲む複数の清浄空気吸入開口部を備える、請求項19または20に記載の吸入器。
- 前記清浄空気吸入開口部が、前記薬物搭載空気吐出開口部の周りに対称に配置される、請求項21に記載の吸入器。
- 複数のブリスターを有するストリップを受け入れるように構成されたハウジングであって、各々のブリスターが穿刺可能な蓋を有し、かつ使用者による吸入のための1用量の薬剤を含む、ハウジングと、前記ストリップを駆動させて各々のブリスターを順次動かして前記ブリスター貫通部材と一直線にするように動作可能な手段と、前記ブリスター貫通部材に一直線になった前記ブリスターの蓋に穴をあけさせるように動作可能な作動手段と、を備える、請求項18乃至22のいずれかに記載の吸入器。
- 穿刺可能な蓋を有し、かつ使用者による吸入のための1用量の薬剤を含む単一のブリスターを受け入れるように構成されたハウジングと、前記ブリスター貫通部材に前記ハウジングに受け入れられている前記ブリスターの蓋に穴をあけさせるように動作可能な作動手段と、を備える、請求項18乃至22のいずれかに記載の吸入器。
