Description
本発明は、特に好適なフェノール系酸化防止剤を使用することによりわずかな固有色と高い光熱的安定性とを有する、可塑剤含有ポリビニルアセタールの混合物ないし該混合物から押し出されたフィルムに関する。
他の多くの熱可塑性樹脂と同様に、ポリビニルブチラールはしばしばフェノール系酸化防止剤(フェノール系AO)を備えており、その役割は、例えばフィルム押出の際に高い加工温度により引き起こされるラジカル分解反応を阻止することである。これによりポリマー鎖長が実質的に一定に維持されるので、押出プロセスの結果としての押し出された材料の機械的特性は悪化しない。
本発明の課題は、光学的な適用に使用可能であり、即ち、積層されたフィルムにおいて、エッジ黄変を示さず、押出の際に黄色値の許容不可能な増大を示さず、かつ特に良好な光熱的安定性を示す、押出により可塑剤含有ポリビニルアセタールからフィルムを製造する際の高い要求に特に適したフェノール系酸化防止剤を特定することであった。
意想外にも、3−t−ブチル−4−ヒドロキシ−5−メチルフェニルプロピオネートの単位を部分構造として有するフェノール系酸化防止剤を使用することによって、わずかな固有色と特に高い光熱的安定性とを有する可塑剤含有ポリビニルアセタールからのフィルムが得られることが見出された。
Rは、多官能性アルコールの炭化水素基、1〜10個のグリコール単位を有するオリゴグリコール、又は1〜20個の炭素原子を有する炭化水素基であり、かつ、Xは、1、2、3又は4である]
の少なくとも1の化合物0.001〜1質量%が安定剤として添加されていることを特徴とする、熱可塑性混合物、又は該混合物から製造されたフィルムである。
R1、R2、R3、R4、R5、R6、R7、R8、R9、R10、R11は、非芳香族系置換基、例えば、H、C1〜C20アルキル、ヒドロキシアルキル、アルコキシアルキル、アシルオキシアルキルであり、これらはそれぞれ非置換であるか、又はアルデヒド基、ケト基若しくはエポキシ基で置換されているものとし、
R12は、単結合、C1〜C20アルキル、ヒドロキシアルキル、アルコキシアルキル、アシルオキシアルキルであり、これらはそれぞれ非置換であるか、又はアルデヒド基、ケト基若しくはエポキシ基で置換されているものとし、

多価脂肪族又は芳香族酸のエステル、例えば、ジアルキルアジペート、例えば、ジヘキシルアジペート、ジオクチルアジペート、ヘキシルシクロヘキシルアジペート、ヘプチルアジペートとノニルアジペートとからの混合物、ジイソノニルアジペート、ヘプチルノニルアジペート、並びに、アジピン酸と脂環式又はエーテル結合含有エステルアルコールとのエステル、ジアルキルセバケート、例えば、ジブチルセバケート、並びに、セバシン酸と脂環式又はエーテル結合含有エステルアルコールとのエステル、フタル酸のエステル、例えば、ブチルベンジルフタレート又はビス−2−ブトキシエチルフタレート、
1以上の非分枝鎖又は分枝鎖脂肪族又は芳香族置換基を有する多価脂肪族又は芳香族アルコール又はオリゴエーテルグリコールのエステル又はエーテル、例えば、ジグリコール、トリグリコール又はテトラグリコールと直鎖又は分枝鎖脂肪族又は脂環式カルボン酸とのエステル;
最後に記載した群についての例として、ジエチレングリコール−ビス−(2−エチル−ヘキサノエート)、トリエチレングリコール−ビス−(2−エチル−ヘキサノエート)、トリエチレングリコール−ビス−(2−エチル−ブタノエート)、テトラエチレングリコール−ビス−n−ヘプタノエート、トリエチレングリコール−ビス−n−ヘプタノエート、トリエチレングリコール−ビス−n−ヘキサノエート、テトラエチレングリコール−ジメチルエーテル及び/又はジプロピレングリコールベンゾエートが挙げられる、
脂肪族又は芳香族エステルアルコールのリン酸塩、例えば、トリス(2−エチルヘキシル)ホスフェート(TOF)、トリエチルホスフェート、ジフェニル−2−エチルヘキシルホスフェート、及び/又はトリクレシルホスフェート、
クエン酸、コハク酸及び/又はフマル酸のエステル。
該フィルムの照射耐久性を、合わせガラスにおいて、Optiwhite(R) タイプ(典型的な透明ガラスと比較してUV−A線に対して高い透過率を有する、Pilkington社製の酸化鉄貧有ガラス)の厚さ2mmの2枚のガラスの間で試験した。ここで、15×15cmの寸法を有する積層体を、EN 12543による照射室中に20週の期間にわたり置いた。EN 12543の条件とは相違して、より高い一定の80℃の試料温度に調節した。それというのも、こちらの方がむしろ、望ましくない場合での適用において実際に生じる放射線負荷と温度負荷との組合せに相応しているためである。

Claims (9)
- 少なくとも1のポリビニルブチラールと少なくとも1の可塑剤とを含有する熱可塑性混合物からのフィルムにおいて、式1
Rは、多官能性アルコールの炭化水素基、二官能性環状エーテル、二官能性環状ジエーテル、二官能性ジオキサン誘導体、1〜10個のグリコール単位を有するオリゴグリコール、又は1〜20個の炭素原子を有する炭化水素基であり、かつ、Xは、1、2、3又は4である]による少なくとも1の化合物0.001〜1質量%が安定剤として添加され、かつ
式100×O/(C+H)により表されるその極性が9.4以下である可塑剤が添加され、その際、O、C及びHは、それぞれの分子中の酸素原子、炭素原子及び水素原子の数を表し、5未満の固有色DYIを有していることを特徴とするフィルム。 - 式1の安定剤として、CAS登録番号36443−68−2又はCAS登録番号90498−90−1の化合物が使用されている、請求項1記載のフィルム。
- 混合物が2〜70のアルカリ滴定値を有している、請求項1から4までのいずれか1項記載のフィルム。
- 混合物が、さらに、HAS/HALS/NOR−HALS型の非芳香族系光安定剤0.001〜1質量%を含有している、請求項1から5までのいずれか1項記載のフィルム。
- 混合物が、さらに、300g/モル未満の分子量を有するフェノール系酸化防止剤を0.001〜0.25質量%の量で含有している、請求項1から6までのいずれか1項記載のフィルム。
- フィルムが3未満のデルタb*値を有している、請求項1から7までのいずれか1項記載のフィルム。
- 合わせガラス積層体、フロントガラス又は光起電性モジュールを製造するための、請求項1から8までのいずれか1項記載のフィルムの使用。
