Claims (20)
- 1つまたは複数のコンピュータを使用して、ネットワーク上の複数のサーモスタットを管理するサーモスタット管理システムであって、
サーモスタットに関連したサーモスタットメタデータを前記ネットワークのパブリックネットワーク部分を介して受信し、サーモスタット管理アカウントとペアリングされるのを待っている、前記サーモスタットに関連付けられたサーモスタット識別子およびパブリックネットワークアドレスを含むサーモスタットメタデータによって参照されるサーモスタット登録プール内にエントリをプロビジョニングする、前記1つまたは複数のコンピュータ上で実行するように構成された登録サーバーと、
前記サーモスタット登録プール内の各エントリに対応する前記サーモスタットの各々上で現在使用されているよりも新しいバージョンのソフトウェアが存在する場合、前記登録サーバーで登録された前記サーモスタットの各々のソフトウェアおよびファームウェアおよび構成を更新しようと試みる前記1つまたは複数のコンピュータ上で実行するように構成された更新サーバーと、
サーモスタットのサーモスタット管理アカウントとの関連付けを容易にして、前記サーモスタット管理アカウントを使用して前記サーモスタットとの通信を許可する、前記1つまたは複数のコンピュータ上で実行するように構成されたペアリングサーバーと、
前記サーモスタット管理システム上の前記サーモスタット管理アカウントにアクセスするコンピュータ装置から、1つまたは複数のサーモスタットにアクセスするためのユーザーインタフェースの生成を容易にする、前記1つまたは複数のコンピュータ上で実行するように構成された、サーモスタットフロントエンドユーザーインタフェースサーバーと、
前記サーモスタット管理システムで登録されたサーモスタットに関連したデータへのアクセスを管理し、前記ネットワークを介して受信した、包囲空間の暖房および冷房に関連した情報を、前記登録されたサーモスタットによって制御されるように編成する、前記1つまたは複数のコンピュータ上で実行するように構成された、サーモスタットバックエンドサーバーと
を備えるシステム。 - 前記サーモスタットメタデータが、前記サーモスタットを識別するサーモスタット識別子、および前記ネットワークの前記パブリックネットワーク部分を介して前記サーモスタット管理システムと通信するために、前記サーモスタットによって使用されるパブリックネットワークアドレスを含む、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記更新サーバーが、前記サーモスタット登録プール内の各エントリにアクセスし、次いで、パブリックネットワークアドレスおよびプライベートネットワークアドレスを含む、各エントリ内の前記サーモスタットメタデータを使用して、前記ネットワークの前記パブリックネットワーク部分および前記ネットワークのプライベートネットワーク部分を介して前記対応するサーモスタットに接続する、請求項1に記載のシステム。

- 前記サーモスタットフロントエンドユーザーインタフェースが、前記サーモスタット管理アカウントとペアリングされた一次包囲空間を表す家の画像を表示し、前記一次包囲空間の内部の各サーモスタットに対して、各サーモスタットが設置されているエリアの温度を反映する現在の温度を、前記1つまたは複数のサーモスタットの各々上に表示した、1つまたは複数のサーモスタットの画像をさらに表示する、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記サーモスタットフロントエンドユーザーインタフェースが、前記サーモスタット管理アカウントとペアリングされた二次包囲空間を表す追加の家の画像を、前記一次包囲空間を表す前記家の前記画像に比べて、前記追加の家の前記画像の強調を抑えて、さらに表示する、請求項7に記載のシステム。
- 前記サーモスタットバックエンドサーバーが、前記ネットワークの前記パブリックネットワーク部分を介して前記登録されたサーモスタットにアップロードするために1つまたは複数の所定の暖房および冷房スケジュールをさらに提供する、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記ペアリングサーバーが、サーモスタット管理アカウント識別子が前記サーモスタットによって表示された、および、前記サーモスタット管理アカウントとの前記サーモスタットのペアリングを承認する前記サーモスタットによって入力が受信されたとことの確認を前記サーモスタットから受信するようにさらに構成される、請求項5に記載のシステム。
- 前記パブリックネットワークアドレスが、前記ネットワークのプライベートネットワーク部分の一部であるとともに、前記ネットワークの前記プライベートネットワーク部分と前記ネットワークの前記パブリックネットワーク部分との間の通信を容易にするルータに関連付けられ、前記サーモスタットおよび前記サーモスタット管理アカウントを使用する前記コンピュータ装置もまた、前記ネットワークの前記プライベートネットワーク部分である、請求項5に記載のシステム。
- 前記サーモスタットに関連付けられた前記サーモスタット登録プール内のエントリを前記サーモスタット管理アカウントと自動的にペアリングするために使用される前記パブリックネットワークアドレスが、前記コンピュータ装置が、前記サーモスタット管理アカウントにごく最近アクセスしたパブリックネットワークアドレスを備える、請求項5に記載のシステム。
- 前記ペアリングサーバーは、前記サーモスタットを前記サーモスタット管理アカウントと自動的にペアリングするのを試み、前記サーモスタットを前記サーモスタット管理アカウントと自動的にペアリングする試みが成功しなかった場合、前記サーモスタットを前記サーモスタット管理アカウントと手動でペアリングするのを試みるようにさらに構成される、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記サーモスタット管理アカウントがパブリックネットワークアドレスを介してアクセスされ、かつ少なくとも1つの追加のサーモスタット管理アカウントが所定の時間間隔以内に同一の前記パブリックネットワークアドレスからアクセスされていた場合、前記サーモスタットを前記サーモスタット管理アカウントと自動的にペアリングする試みは成功しない、請求項13に記載のシステム。
- 前記パスコードは、認証有効期間に関連付けられ、前記サーモスタット管理アカウントが前記パスコードを前記認証有効期間後に提供した場合、前記サーモスタット登録プール内の前記エントリが、前記サーモスタット管理アカウントとペアリングされない、請求項6に記載のシステム。
- 前記サーモスタットフロントエンドユーザーインタフェースが、前記二次包囲空間の選択をさらに受信し、前記二次包囲空間の前記選択の受信に応答して、前記二次包囲空間を表す前記追加の家の前記画像と関係して、前記一次包囲空間を表す前記家の前記画像の強調を抑える、請求項8に記載のシステム。
- 前記サーモスタットフロントエンドユーザーインタフェースサーバーによって生成される前記ユーザーインタフェースが、前記サーモスタットの動作を制御するための1つまたは複数の温度設定点を受信するように構成され、前記1つまたは複数の温度設定点は1つまたは複数のバー制御を介して受信され、前記1つまたは複数のバー制御のそれぞれは週の一日に対応する、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記サーモスタットフロントエンドユーザーインタフェースサーバーによって生成される前記ユーザーインタフェースが、前記ユーザーインタフェース上に1つまたは複数の温度設定点を一緒に表示するように構成され、前記1つまたは複数の温度設定点が、時間間隔に従って配置される、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記サーモスタットフロントエンドユーザーインタフェースサーバーによって生成される前記ユーザーインタフェースが、前記一次包囲空間内で動作しているそれぞれのサーモスタットのための別個のサーモスタットアイコンを表示するように構成される、請求項7に記載のシステム。
- 前記サーモスタットフロントエンドユーザーインタフェースサーバーによって生成される前記ユーザーインタフェースが、前記サーモスタットのグラフィカルユーザーインタフェースに類似した方式で温度制御および温度情報を表示するような、前記サーモスタットのユーザーインタフェースのグラフィカル表現を表示するように構成される、請求項1に記載のシステム。
