Description
インベストメント鋳造スラリは、結合剤(コロイド状シリカ及びスチレン・ブタジエン(SBR)ラテックスの混合物)、及び乾燥綿毛状パルプが添加されたシリカ粉末を混合することにより調製された。同じ結合剤から作られた3種類のスラリが、この実施例中に示されている。スラリ1−1は、市販品として入手可能な、広い分布の融合シリカ粉末システムであり、添加物として粗いマイクロシリカ及び合成有機繊維を含むGray Matter(GM)II粉末から作られた対照である。粗いマイクロシリカの添加はシェル浸透性を改善し、及び繊維添加はよりよい隅及び端部を構築する。この調査は、木材パルプを含み、マイクロシリカ及び合成繊維を含まない広い分布の粉末システムを評価するために行われた。スラリ1−2は、GMIIのものと同じ融合シリカ粉末システム及び合成有機繊維を含むが、マイクロシリカを含まないものから生成された。スラリ1−3は、GMIIのものと同じ融合シリカ粉末を含むが、合成有機繊維及びマイクロシリカを含まないものから生成された。乾燥木材パルプは、徐々に直接スラリ1−2及び1−3に、スラリ粘度及びプレート重量がスラリ1−1のものと一致するまで加えられた。
この実施例のサンプルは、実施例1のように、乾燥綿毛状木材パルプをスラリに加えて調製された。この調査は、合成繊維を含むか、含まない、軟材パルプ含むシェルの性能を評価した。硬材パルプの評価も、この実施例の中に導入された。実施例1と同様に、スラリ2−1中の粉末は、再度対照としてのGMIIである。軟材パルプで形成されたスラリ2−2及び2−4は、実施例1のものと同様である。スラリ2−3は、乾燥硬材パルプで形成された。物理的特性は、再び実施例1のものと非常に類似したものであった。スラリ及びシェルの物理的特性は表4〜6に示されている。軟材及び硬材パルプの両方から形成されたシェルは、スラリ中のそれぞれの量がわずかに異なったが、非常に類似的に機能した。これらのシェルはプライムコートなしで作成された。
この実施例でのパルプ添加プロセスは、実施例1及び2とは異なる。硬材及び軟材の両方がコロイド状(シリカ)又は結合剤(コロイド状(シリカ)及びSBRラテックスの混合物)のいずれかの中で再パルプ化された。粉末は、次いでパルプを含む結合剤に添加され、及びスラリ調製のために混合された。コロイド状シリカ中で再パルプ化された場合、等量のポリマがスラリに添加され、及び同様のスラリ処方が達成された。この評価は、コロイド状中での再パルプ化と結合剤に続く粉末添加での再パルプ化を比較した。このスラリ及びシェル物理的特性は表7〜9に示されている。これらは、プライムコートなしの予備シェルである。観察された特性は、上の実施例1及び2で示されているセルロースシステムのものと同様であった。
プラントの評価は実験室の観察を裏付け、及び対照としてのプラントでの既存システムによるオートクレーブ及び金属注入を比較するために行われた。このプラントは、粗いマイクロシリカを改善されたシェル浸透性のための添加物として含む、繊維を含まない広い分布のエンジニアード融合シリカ粉末システムであるWDSIIIを用いた。対照スラリのための結合剤は、大粒子コロイド状シリカ及びSBRラテックスの混合物であった。
Claims (8)
- インベストメント鋳造シェルに用いる組成物であって、
(i)エンジニアード結合剤及び(ii)難溶性粉末を含み、
前記エンジニアード結合剤は、コロイド状シリカと、ポリマと、木材パルプと、水とを含み、
前記エンジニアード結合剤は5wt%〜38wt%で前記組成物中に存在し、前記木材パルプは、0.005mm〜100mmの平均長、および1μm〜100μmの平均直径を有する、組成物。 - 前記ポリマが、アクリル酸、アクリル酸エステル、メタクリル酸、メタクリル酸エステル、スチレン・ブタジエン、塩化ビニル、酢酸ビニル、及びそれらの組み合わせのモノマの少なくとも1つを含む、少なくとも1つのポリマから選ばれる、請求項1に記載の組成物。

- 前記難溶性粉末が、融合シリカ、アルミノケイ酸塩、アルミナ、ケイ酸ジルコニウム、マイクロシリカ、ジルコニア、イッテリア、石英、炭素、及びそれらの組み合わせの少なくとも1つを含む、請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 前記エンジニアード結合剤が、さらに、少なくとも1つの有機繊維、少なくとも1つの無機繊維、及びそれらの組み合わせの少なくとも1つから選ばれる他の繊維を含む、請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 前記少なくとも1つの他の繊維が、ポリプロピレン、ナイロン、レイヨン、セラミック、ガラス、及びそれらの組み合わせから選ばれる、請求項6に記載の組成物。
- 前記エンジニアード結合剤が、さらに、少なくとも1つの殺生物剤、少なくとも1つの防カビ剤、少なくとも1つの消泡剤、少なくとも1つの分散剤、及びそれらの組み合わせの少なくとも1つを含む、請求項1に記載の組成物。
