Abstract
Description
・セルロース繊維と水不溶性ポリビニルアルコール繊維との複合水性懸濁液を形成させ、それを従来の方法で紙または板紙製品にプレスするか、またはポリビニルアルコール繊維およびセルロース繊維の層をサンドイッチ構造を有する製品にプレスするステップ、
・乾燥前の製品を、炭酸ジルコニウム化合物の水溶液で、製品の表面の1つ以上または製品全体に溶液を含浸させることによって処理するステップ、および
・処理した製品を乾燥するステップ、
を含む方法にも関係する。
試験材料:
・セルロース繊維(無酸)
・水不溶性ポリビニルアルコール繊維(King's PVA繊維PF−120/繊維長5mm/12.0±0.2cN/dtex)
・炭酸ジルコニウムカリウム溶液(Raisacoat KZ20:ZrO2濃度20%)。
この実施例では、本発明の方法に従って、すなわち、セルロース繊維と水不溶性ポリビニルアルコール繊維との水性懸濁液を形成させ、それを、使用した試験紙シートにプレスし、そのシートを炭酸ジルコニウムアンモニウムの水溶液で、シートの表面に溶液を含浸させることによって処理し、処理されたシートを乾燥することにより、動的シート成形機(dynamic sheet former)(Formette Dynamic)で、配向試験シート(oriented laboratory sheet)を製造した。シートを表面サイジングし、製造された紙を引張強さ、引裂強さおよび内部結合強度について試験した(表2参照)。
・Voith LabrefinerでSR30まで精製したユーカリSAパルプ−SEL 0.4J/m、粘稠度(cons.)4%、SRE 70kWh/t
・King's PVA繊維PF−120/5mm
・表面サイジング用の水中の7%(ZrO2として算出)Raisacoat AZ20炭酸ジルコニウムアンモニウムおよび1.5%トウモロコシデンプン(食品品質)の混合物(AZC/デンプン)。
・原紙の目標坪量100g/m2
・ワイヤスピード1000m/分、ジェットスピード960m/分(1.6バール)
・圧搾1+2+3バール
・乾燥90℃。
Claims (12)
- セルロース繊維を含む紙または板紙製品であって、1つ以上の炭酸ジルコニウム化合物および水不溶性ポリビニルアルコール繊維をさらに含むことを特徴とする、紙または板紙製品。
- 前記1つ以上の炭酸ジルコニウム化合物が炭酸ジルコニウムアンモニウムもしくは炭酸ジルコニウムカリウムまたはそれらの混合物であることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の紙または板紙製品。
- 前記ポリビニルアルコール繊維が、2〜10mm、好ましくは4〜8mm、最も好ましくは約5mmの繊維長を有することを特徴とする、請求項1または2に記載の紙または板紙製品。
- 前記セルロース繊維および前記ポリビニルアルコール繊維が架橋されていることを特徴とする、請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の紙または板紙製品。
- 前記炭酸ジルコニウム化合物が、ZrO2の濃度として表して、1〜25重量%、好ましくは3〜15重量%、最も好ましくは3〜10重量%の濃度を有することを特徴とする、請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載の紙または板紙製品。
- 前記製品が、1つ以上のさらなる塗工剤、バインダー、填料、サイズ剤、定着剤もしくは他の製紙用薬品、またはそれらの混合物を含有することを特徴とする、請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載の紙または板紙製品。
- ・セルロース繊維と水不溶性ポリビニルアルコール繊維との複合水性懸濁液を形成させ、それを紙または板紙製品にプレスするか、または水不溶性ポリビニルアルコール繊維およびセルロース繊維の層をサンドイッチ構造を有する紙または板紙製品にプレスすること、
・乾燥前の製品を、炭酸ジルコニウム化合物の水溶液で、製品の表面の1つ以上または製品全体に溶液を含浸させることによって処理すること、および
・処理した製品を乾燥すること
を特徴とする、セルロース繊維を含有する紙または板紙製品の製造方法。 - まず最初に前記セルロース繊維の水性懸濁液と水不溶性ポリビニルアルコール繊維の水性懸濁液とを形成させ、次にこれらの懸濁液を合わせて前記複合懸濁液を形成させることを特徴とする、請求項7に記載の方法。
- 強力な混合によって前記セルロース繊維および前記水不溶性ポリビニルアルコールの繊維の本質的に均一な懸濁液を形成させ、それを本質的に一様な厚さを有する紙または板紙製品にプレスし、前記繊維を架橋させることを特徴とする、請求項7または8に記載の方法。
- 交互に重なった2〜10層の水不溶性ポリビニルアルコール繊維層およびセルロース繊維層、好ましくは交互に重なった3〜8層、最も好ましくは交互に重なった4〜5層を、前記サンドイッチ構造に成形することを特徴とする、請求項7に記載の方法。
- 前記炭酸ジルコニウム化合物の水溶液を前記製品の前記表面の1つ以上に塗布し、それを、前記製品の繊維状材料の1〜95%、好ましくは前記材料の25〜90%、最も好ましくは前記材料の50〜80%に吸収させることを特徴とする、請求項7〜10のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記プレスした製品または前記処理した製品を、30〜120℃、好ましくは50〜100℃、最も好ましくは70〜100℃の温度で乾燥するか、該範囲の温度において、まず最初に、前記プレスした製品を乾燥し、次に、前記処理した製品を乾燥することを特徴とする、請求項7〜11のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
