Claims (6)
- シリンダ軸が互いに平行である円形の断面を持つ4つのシリンダ(8、8’)とアウトプット・シャフト(2)とを有し、前記シリンダ軸は、軸断面内で見たときに矩形の頂点にある、往復ピストン・エンジン(1)であって、前記矩形は正方形であり、前記正方形の中心に前記シリンダ軸に平行である前記アウトプット・シャフト(2)の軸が配置されること、4つの前記シリンダ(8、8’)のそれぞれのシリンダは、前記正方形の対角線上の頂点に配置されるシリンダとは同じ方向に配向され、また、前記正方形の隣接する頂点に配置される2つのシリンダとは反対の方向に配向されること、並びにそれぞれのシリンダ(8、8’)からの力及びトルクの伝達は、別々の回転クランク(7)と歯部(3、4、5、6)を介して前記アウトプット・シャフト(2)へなされることを特徴とする往復ピストン・エンジン(1)。
- 互いに対向して対角線上に配置されるピストン(9、9’)は、同位相で、また対向する方向に回転する前記回転クランク(7)とともに配置構成されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の往復ピストン・エンジン(1)。
- すべての前記シリンダ(8、8’)の前記ピストン(9、9’)は、その上死点及び下死点に同時に到達することを特徴とする請求項2に記載の往復ピストン・エンジン(1)。
- 前記歯部はかさ歯車(3、4)を有することを特徴とする請求項1から3までのいずれか一項に記載の往復ピストン・エンジン。
- 前記回転クランク(7)の軸(7’)は、前記アウトプット・シャフト(2)の前記軸と交差すること、及び前記回転クランク(7)は、前記アウトプット・シャフト上のかさ歯車(3)とかみ合うかさ歯車(4)を有することを特徴とする請求項1から4までのいずれか一項に記載の往復ピストン・エンジン。
- 前記回転クランク(7)の軸(7’)は、対では互いに平行であり、前記アウトプット・シャフト(2)の前記軸に対しては斜めであること、及び前記回転クランク(7)は、前記アウトプット・シャフト上のかさ歯車(3)とかみ合う同軸かさ歯車(4)を有する中間歯車(5)とかみ合うクランク機構(6)を有することを特徴とする請求項1から4までのいずれか一項に記載の往復ピストン・エンジン。
