また、本発明は、シーリング材で固定(シール)された物品の表面の少なくとも一部に光触媒層を形成する工程、前記シーリング材の表面に前記の透明性シーリング材成分滲み出し防止層を形成する工程を具備する物品の処理方法である。特に、ガラスと枠部との間にシーリング材が充填されたガラス構造物において、前記ガラスの表面の少なくとも一部に光触媒層を形成する工程、前記シーリング材の表面に前記の透明性シーリング材成分滲み出し防止層を形成する工程を具備するガラス構造物の処理方法である。
また、本発明は、物品の表面の少なくとも一部に光触媒層を備え、物品を固定(シール)するためのシーリング材の表面に前記の透明性シーリング材成分滲み出し防止層を備える物品であり、特に、ガラスと枠部との間にシーリング材が充填されたガラス構造物であって、ガラスの表面の少なくとも一部に光触媒層を備え、前記シーリング材の表面には、前記の透明性シーリング材成分滲み出し防止層を備えるガラス構造物である。
更に、本発明は、エポキシ樹脂に重合性不飽和モノマーをグラフト重合又は共重合させてなる変性エポキシ樹脂を含有する光触媒親水性低下防止用透明性組成物である。
また、シーリング材で固定(シール)された物品の表面の少なくとも一部に光触媒層を形成する工程、前記シーリング材の表面に前記のシーリング材成分滲み出し防止層を形成する工程を具備することにより、部品が施工された現場で光触媒層、シーリング材成分滲み出し防止層の形成が可能である。
また、物品の表面の少なくとも一部に光触媒層を備え、物品を固定(シール)するためのシーリング材の表面に前記のシーリング材成分滲み出し防止層を備えることにより、光触媒親水性を長期間維持することができる。これにより、水滴による表面塗装の焼けを長期間防止したり、微細な水滴の付着による曇りを長期間防止でき視界を確保することができる。また、物品の表面の汚れを洗浄し易くする防汚性効果、室温調節機能を物品に長期間付与することもできる。
更に、エポキシ樹脂に重合性不飽和モノマーをグラフト重合又は共重合させてなる変性エポキシ樹脂を含有する光触媒親水性低下防止用透明性組成物であって、新設の光触媒性物品のほかに既設の光触媒性物品にも適用でき、光触媒親水性の低下防止に用いることができる。
物品上のシーリング材の表面には、エポキシ樹脂に重合性不飽和モノマーをグラフト重合又は共重合させた変性エポキシ樹脂を含有する透明性シーリング材成分滲み出し防止層を形成させる。シーリング材成分滲み出し防止層には後述の透明性変性エポキシ樹脂のほかに、更に分散剤、分散安定化剤、カップリング剤、硬化剤、架橋剤、重合開始剤、粘度調整剤、増粘剤類、改質樹脂等の塗料用添加剤等が含まれていても良いが、アルミニウム薄片等の着色顔料を用いてシーリング材成分滲み出し防止層を不透明化しない。
(ビニルモノマー及び重合開始剤の混合物の配合処方)
メタクリル酸 10部
スチレン 250部
エチルアクリレート 200部
i−ブチルメタクリレート 200部
2−エチルヘキシルアクリレート 290部
γ−メタクリロキシプロピルトリメトキシシラン 50部
t−ブチルパーオキシ−2−エチルヘキサノエート 80部
(注2)「TSL8380」:東芝シリコーン社製、商品名、γ−メルカプトプロピルトリメトキシシラン
(注3)「Aソルベント」:日本石油社製、商品名、石油系溶剤
(注4)「7A122N90」:ヘンケルジャパン社製、商品名、ケチミン化ポリアミド型硬化剤、活性水素当量=210、ケチミン化率95%、不揮発分90%
(注5)「TSL8331」:東芝シリコーン社製、商品名、γ−アミノプロピルトリメトキシシラン
(注6)「ネオスタン U−100」:日東化成株式会社製、ジブチル錫ジラウレート
ガラス板に、東芝トスシール381(1液硬化型)、サンスターペンギンシール2520(2液硬化型)を用いてそれぞれのシーリング材を成型し、固定した。次いで、前記のシーリング材にマスキングを施し、ガラス面に光触媒塗料(ST−K253、石原産業社製)を塗布し、常温乾燥後、マスキングを除去してから、シーリング材表面に光触媒親水性低下防止用透明性組成物(試料B)を刷毛塗りし、常温乾燥して、透明性シーリング材成分滲み出し防止層を形成し、本発明のガラス構造物を得た。それぞれを、実施例1、2とする。
実施例1、2において、滲み出し防止層を形成しなかった以外は実施例1、2と同様にして、比較対象のガラス構造物を得た。それぞれを、比較例1、3とする。
実施例1、2において、前記組成物(試料B)に替えてシリコーン系樹脂(SR2405、東レ・ダウコーニング社製)を用いて滲み出し防止層を形成した以外は、実施例1、2と同様にして、比較対象のガラス構造物を得た。それぞれを、比較例2、4とする。
実施例1、2、比較例1〜4で得られたガラス構造物を促進曝露試験機(QUV、Qlab社製)に入れ、所定時間経過後、水散布による光触媒塗布面の親水性効果を目視によって、下記基準により判定した。
判定基準:○良好、△ややハジキ傾向、×ハジキ大
その結果を表2に示す。シーリング材成分滲み出し防止層を形成しなかった場合、いずれのシーリング材種でも72時間後に、また、従来のシリコーン系樹脂で滲み出し防止層を形成した場合は、1液硬化型のシーリング材で48時間後に、2液硬化型で144時間後に、光触媒親水性効果が低下する。しかし、本発明によって、シーリング材成分滲み出し防止層を形成した場合、1液硬化型で288時間後、2液硬化型では504時間後でも光触媒親水性効果が認められ、長時間の維持が可能であった。
Claims (11)
- 少なくとも一部の表面に光触媒層が形成された物品を固定するためのシーリング材の表面に、エポキシ樹脂に重合性不飽和モノマーをグラフト重合又は共重合させてなる変性エポキシ樹脂を含有する透明性シーリング材成分滲み出し防止層を形成させる光触媒親水性の低下を防止する方法。
- 重合性不飽和モノマーがカルボキシル基含有モノマーを含むものであり、グラフト重合又は共重合後にカルボキシル基とエポキシ基とを反応させてなる変性エポキシ樹脂である請求項1に記載の光触媒親水性の低下を防止する方法。
- シーリング材で固定された物品の表面の少なくとも一部に光触媒層を形成する工程、前記シーリング材の表面に請求項1又は2に記載のシーリング材成分滲み出し防止層を形成する工程を具備する物品の処理方法。
- ガラスと枠部との間にシーリング材が充填されたガラス構造物において、前記ガラスの表面の少なくとも一部に光触媒層を形成する工程、前記シーリング材の表面に請求項1又は2に記載のシーリング材成分滲み出し防止層を形成する工程を具備するガラス構造物の処理方法。
- 物品の表面の少なくとも一部に光触媒層を備え、物品を固定するためのシーリング材の表面に請求項1又は2に記載のシーリング材成分滲み出し防止層を備える物品。
- 建材である請求項5に記載の物品。
- 外装材である請求項6に記載の物品。
- ガラスと枠部との間にシーリング材が充填されたガラス構造物であって、ガラスの表面の少なくとも一部に光触媒層を備え、前記シーリング材の表面には、請求項1又は2に記載のシーリング材成分滲み出し防止層を備えるガラス構造物。
- エポキシ樹脂に重合性不飽和モノマーをグラフト重合又は共重合させてなる変性エポキシ樹脂を含有する、請求項1から4のいずれか一項に記載の方法に用いられる光触媒親水性低下防止用透明性組成物。
- 重合性不飽和モノマーがカルボキシル基含有モノマーを含むものであり、グラフト重合又は共重合後にカルボキシル基とエポキシ基とを反応させてなる変性エポキシ樹脂である請求項9に記載の透明性組成物。
- 更に、エポキシ樹脂用硬化剤を含む請求項9又は10に記載の透明性組成物。
