Description
140℃に加熱したフラタリー硅砂30kgをワールミキサーに入れ、これに表1に示す量の熱硬化性樹脂を加えて30秒間混練した。次に表1に示す量でヘキサメチレンテトラミン、水溶性無機化合物、糖類を水450gに溶解乃至分散させた溶液を加え、砂粒の塊が崩壊するまで混練した。崩壊した後、滑剤としてステアリン酸カルシウム30gを添加して15秒間混練し、さらにエアーレーションを行なうことによって、粘結剤として熱硬化性樹脂、水溶性無機化合物、糖類を含有するコーティング層で被覆した粘結剤コーテッド耐火物を得た。
表1に示す量の水溶性無機化合物を水450gに溶解乃至分散させた溶液を、140℃に加熱した30kgのフラタリー硅砂に加えて混練するようにした他は、上記と同様にして、粘結剤として水溶性無機化合物を含有するコーティング層で被覆した粘結剤コーテッド耐火物を得た。
崩壊率(%)=100−(加熱処理後の曲げ強さ/加熱処理前の曲げ強さ)×100
実施例2,9,12,15、比較例4,6と同じ配合の粘結剤でコーティング層を被覆した粘結剤コーテッド耐火物を調製した。これらの粘結剤コーテッド耐火物を実施例17〜20、比較例5〜6とする。
2 粘結剤コーテッド耐火物
Claims (13)
- 耐火骨材の表面に、粘結剤として水溶性無機化合物と熱硬化性樹脂を含有する固形のコーティング層が被覆されていることを特徴とする粘結剤コーテッド耐火物。
- 上記の水溶性無機化合物が、水ガラス、塩化ナトリウム、リン酸ナトリウム、炭酸ナトリウム、バナジン酸ナトリウム、ホウ酸ナトリウム、酸化アルミニウムナトリウム、塩化カリウム、炭酸カリウム、硫酸化合物から選ばれるものであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の粘結剤コーテッド耐火物。
- 上記の熱硬化性樹脂が、フェノール樹脂であることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の粘結剤コーテッド耐火物。
- 粘結剤として、上記の水溶性無機化合物と熱硬化性樹脂の他に、糖類を含有することを特徴とする請求項1乃至3のいずれかに記載の粘結剤コーテッド耐火物。
- 請求項1乃至4のいずれかに記載の粘結剤コーテッド耐火物が、コーティング層の粘結剤によって結合して形成されたことを特徴とする鋳型。
- 請求項1乃至4のいずれかに記載の粘結剤コーテッド耐火物を型内に充填し、この型内に水蒸気を吹き込んで粘結剤コーテッド耐火物を加熱し、コーティング層の粘結剤を固化乃至硬化させることを特徴とする鋳型の製造方法。
- 粘結剤コーテッド耐火物を充填した型内に水蒸気を吹き込んで、水蒸気の凝縮水を粘結剤に供給すると共に、次いで水蒸気の凝縮潜熱により粘結剤コーテッド耐火物の温度を上昇させることによって、コーティング層の粘結剤を固化乃至硬化させることを特徴とする請求項6に記載の鋳型の製造方法。
- 粘結剤コーテッド耐火物を充填した型内に水蒸気を吹き込んで、水蒸気の凝縮潜熱により粘結剤コーテッド耐火物の温度を上昇させ、次に加熱した気体を型内に吹き込んで、型内の凝縮水を蒸発させると共に粘結剤コーテッド耐火物の粘結剤が固化乃至硬化する温度以上に加熱することを特徴とする請求項6又は7に記載の鋳型の製造方法。
- 上記の加熱した気体が、加熱した空気であることを特徴とする請求項8に記載の鋳型の製造方法。
- 上記の加熱した気体が、水蒸気と空気との混合気体であることを特徴とする請求項8に記載の鋳型の製造方法。
- 上記の水蒸気が、過熱水蒸気であることを特徴とする請求項6乃至10のいずれかに記載の鋳型の製造方法。
- 粘結剤コーテッド耐火物を充填した型内に水分を供給して粘結剤を湿らせた後、型内に過熱水蒸気を吹き込んで、水分を乾燥させると共に過熱水蒸気の凝縮潜熱により粘結剤コーテッド耐火物の温度を上昇させてコーティング層の粘結剤を固化乃至硬化させることを特徴とする請求項6乃至11のいずれかに記載の鋳型の製造方法。
- 予備加熱した粘結剤コーテッド耐火物を型内に充填することを特徴とする請求項6乃至12のいずれかに記載の鋳型の製造方法。
