Description
本実施例の自動車用ホイール1は、図1〜3のように、ホイールリム2のウエル部13に、ホイールディスク3のディスクフランジ部25を内嵌して、ウエル部13とディスクフランジ部25とを隅肉溶接により接合して一体化してなる、所謂2ピースタイプの構成である。ここで、ホイールリム2とホイールディスク3とは、それぞれスチール製平板を成形加工してなるものであり、本実施例の自動車用ホイール1はスチール製ホイールである。また、前記隅肉溶接により生成された溶接部9が、本発明にかかる接合部である。
本実施例にあって、上記したホイールディスク3のスポーク部24は、その長手方向(径方向)に沿って形成された中央溝部31と、該中央溝部31の両側に設けられた側縁部32,32とにより構成されている(図1〜9参照)。ここで、側縁部32,32は、中央溝部31よりも表方へ突出するように設けられている。このような形態のスポーク部24によって、該スポーク部24の強度と剛性とを向上することができる。さらに、本実施例にあっては、スポーク部24の側縁部32,32の外端部32a,32aが、周方向の両側へ拡幅した形状に形成されている(図8,9参照)。このように側縁部32,32の外端部32a,32aを形成することによって、スポーク部24とディスクフランジ部25とが連成する部位の強度と剛性を向上することができる。

Claims (4)
- タイヤのビードを支持する表裏のビードシート部と、表裏のビードシート部の間に設けられた内方へ窪むウエル部とを具備するホイールリムと、
車軸のハブに連結される略円板状のハブ取付部と、前記ホイールリムのウエル部に内嵌する円環状のディスクフランジ部と、ハブ取付部とディスクフランジ部とを連結する複数のスポーク部とを具備し、隣り合うスポーク部とディスクフランジ部とにより飾り孔が画成されたホイールディスクと
を備えた自動車用ホイールにおいて、
ホイールディスクのディスクフランジ部は、ホイールリムのウエル部と嵌合する嵌合直環部と、該嵌合直環部のスポーク部と連成していない部位から、隣り合うスポーク部間に延出されて径方向内側へ折曲し、スポーク部の側縁部の外端部に比して裏方へ窪む同心円弧状の折曲表側縁部とを備え、さらに該折曲表側縁部の周方向両側に、該折曲表側縁部とスポーク部とを連成する湾曲状の連成側部を備えていることを特徴とする自動車用ホイール。 - 前記スポーク部は、径方向に沿って形成された中央溝部と、該中央溝部よりも表方へ突出し且つ該中央溝部の周方向両側に設けられた側縁部とを備えていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の自動車用ホイール。
- 前記スポーク部の前記側縁部は、その径方向外方に位置する外端部のみが周方向に拡幅した形状に形成されていることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の自動車用ホイール。
- 前記連成側部は、前記折曲表側縁部と前記スポーク部の前記側縁部の前記外端部とを連成していることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の自動車用ホイール。
