Description
上記(1)及び(2)式において、Arはフェニル基、置換基を有するフェニル基、複素芳香環基、置換基を有する複素芳香環基などのアリール基を示し、Rは脂肪族炭化水素基または置換基を有する脂肪族炭化水素基を示し、nは0〜3の整数を示す。
[1]下記(1)式で表されるホスフィンオキシド誘導体を、トリアルキルシリルハライドを使用して、支持電解質の存在下、極性有機溶媒中で電解還元反応させることを特徴とする、下記(2)式で表されるホスフィン誘導体の製造方法。
(上記(1)及び(2)式において、Arはフェニル基、置換基を有するフェニル基、複素芳香環基、及び置換基を有する複素芳香環基からなる群から選ばれるアリール基を示し、Rは脂肪族炭化水素基又は置換基を有する脂肪族炭化水素基を示し、nは0〜3の整数を示す。)
トリフルオロメタンスルホン酸テトラブチルアンモニウム(Bu4NOTf 0.7854g、2.01mmol)をアセトニトリル(10mL)に溶解した。これを陽極及び陰極に白金電極(1.5×1.0cm2)を付した分離型セルの両極室に5mLずつ入れ、さらに陰極室にトリフェニルホスフィンオキシド(Ph3PO、0.1402g、0.504mmol)とトリメチルシリルクロリド(Me3SiCl、0.78mL、0.67g、6.2mmol)を入れた。アルゴン雰囲気下で反応液を室温で10分間かき混ぜたのち、室温で定電流電解(25mA、64.3分、2F/mol−Ph3PO)を行った。陰極室液を5%塩酸−氷の混合物に注ぎ、酢酸エチル(15ml)で三回抽出した。有機層を一つにまとめ、飽和炭酸水素ナトリウム水溶液10mL及び飽和食塩水10mLで順次洗浄した後、無水硫酸ナトリウムで乾燥した。有機層をろ過、減圧下濃縮した後、残渣をシリカゲルカラムクロマトグラフィー(SiO250g、ヘキサン→ヘキサン/酢酸エチル 3/1、Rf=0.73)で精製し、目的物であるトリフェニルホスフィン(0.127g、0.484mmol、96%)を単離し、原料であるトリフェニルホスフィンオキシド(2.8mg、0.01mmol、回収率2%)も回収した。結果を表1に示す。
表1に示す量のトリメチルシリルクロリドを用いた以外は、実施例1と同様の操作及び反応条件下で、トリフェニルホスフィンオキシドからトリフェニルホスフィンへの還元反応を実施した。結果を表1に示す。
トリメチルシリルクロリドに代えてトリメチルシリルトリフラート(Me3SiOTf)を用いた以外は、実施例2と同様の操作及び反応条件下で、トリフェニルホスフィンオキシドからトリフェニルホスフィンへの還元反応を実施した。
テトラブチルアンモニウムブロミド(Bu4NBr、0.645g、2.0mmol)をアセトニトリル(5mL)に溶解した溶液にトリフェニルホスフィンオキシド(Ph3PO、0.557g、2.0mmol)とトリメチルシリルクロリド(Me3SiCl、0.78mL、0.67g、6.2mmol)とを加え10分間かき混ぜて均一溶液とした。これに陽極として亜鉛電極(1.5×1.0cm2)、陰極として銅電極(1.5×1.0cm2)を付し、アルゴン雰囲気下、電解槽を45℃の油浴に浸して加温しながら、定電流電解(100mA、128.7分、4F/mol−Ph3PO)を行った。電解液を5%塩酸−氷の混合物に注ぎ、酢酸エチル(30ml)で三回抽出した。有機層を一つにまとめ、飽和炭酸水素ナトリウム水溶液10mL及び飽和食塩水10mLで順次洗浄した後、無水硫酸ナトリウムで乾燥した。有機層をろ過、減圧下濃縮した後、残渣をシリカゲルカラムクロマトグラフィー(ヘキサン→ヘキサン/酢酸エチル 3/1)で精製し、目的物であるトリフェニルホスフィン(0.509g、1.94mmol、97%)を単離し、原料であるトリフェニルホスフィンオキシド(5.6mg、0.02mmol、回収率1%)を回収した。結果を表2に示す。
トリフェニルホスフィンオキシドの代わりに、表2に示すホスフィンオキシド(2.0mmol)を用いた以外は、実施例3と同様の操作及び反応条件下で、ホスフィンオキシドからホスフィンへの還元反応を実施した。結果を表2に示す。
Claims (9)
- 前記トリアルキルシリルハライドが、トリメチルシリルクロリド、トリエチルシリルクロリド、及びトリプロピルシリルクロリドからなる群から選ばれる、請求項1に記載の製造方法。
- 前記支持電解質が、トリフルオロメタンスルホン酸テトラブチルアンモニウム、p−トルエンスルホン酸テトラエチルアンモニウム、テトラエチルアンモニウムブロミド、テトラブチルアンモニウムブロミド、過塩素酸テトラブチルアンモニウム、テトラフルオロほう酸テトラブチルアンモニウム、及びヘキサフルオロリン酸テトラブチルアンモニウムからなる群から選ばれる四級アンモニウム塩、又は過塩素酸リチウム、ヘキサフルオロリン酸リチウム、及びテトラフルオロほう酸ナトリウムからなる群から選ばれるアルカリ金属塩である、請求項1又は2に記載の製造方法。
- 前記電解還元反応を定電流条件下で行う、請求項1から3のいずれか一項に記載の製造方法。
- 前記ホスフィンオキシド誘導体を前記極性有機溶媒に対して1〜50質量%の量で使用する、請求項1から4のいずれか一項に記載の製造方法。
- 前記支持電解質をホスフィンオキシド誘導体に対して5〜500モル%の量で使用する、請求項1から5のいずれか一項に記載の製造方法。
- 前記極性有機溶媒が非プロトン性極性有機溶媒である、請求項1から6のいずれか一項に記載の製造方法。
- 前記極性有機溶媒がアセトニトリル又はアセトニトリルを主溶媒とする混合溶媒である、請求項7に記載の製造方法。
- 前記電解還元反応を0〜50℃の温度で行う、請求項1〜8のいずれか一項に記載の製造方法。
