Claims (12)
- pHが3.5より大きい水性混合物からリグニンを分離するための方法であって、
a)45℃〜98℃の範囲の温度に混合物を加熱する段階と、
b)前記加熱する温度以上の分離温度で混合物からリグニン固形物を分離する段階と
を含み、
前記混合物はバイオマス原料から誘導され、混合物を加熱する段階に先立って、バイオマス原料に対する蒸気爆発段階を行う、
方法。 - 前記分離する段階の少なくとも一部分が遠心分離法によって行われる、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記分離する段階の少なくとも一部分がろ過法によって行われる、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記分離する段階の少なくとも一部分が重力法によって行われる、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記混合物が、セルロースを糖に変換することができる酵素を含有する、請求項1から4のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記混合物を加熱する段階が、バイオマスが少なくとも部分的に糖に加水分解した後に行われる、請求項1から5のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記混合物を加熱する段階が、少なくとも部分的に加水分解したバイオマスがアルコールに変換された後に行われる、請求項6に記載の方法。
- 前記混合物を加熱する段階の一部が、アルコールを水から分離するための蒸留段階の一部として行われる、請求項1から7のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記混合物のpHが7.0より大きい、請求項1から8のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 前記加熱温度が上限温度および下限温度を有する温度範囲にあり、上限温度が97℃であり、下限温度が60℃である、請求項1から9のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 前記下限温度が70℃であり、上限温度が97℃である、請求項10に記載の方法。
- 前記温度範囲の下限温度が74℃である、請求項10に記載の方法。
