Description
(遠心後の試料/バッグ−遠心後の空のバッグ−乾燥試料重量)/乾燥試料重量
シリンダー、ピストン(4.4g)、標準おもり(317g)を含むAULアセンブリ。アセンブリの要素の詳細は後述する。
トレー壁と接触することなく底部にガラスフリットを置くことができる幅を有する正方形の平底プラスチックトレー。寸法が9×9インチ(22.9×22.9cm)であり、深さが0.5〜1インチ(1.3〜2.5cm)のプラスチックトレーをこの試験法において通常使用する。
直径12.5cmの「C」気孔率(25〜50μm)を有する焼成ガラスフリット。フリットは、食塩水(0.9重量%塩化ナトリウム蒸留水溶液)内で平衡化して予め準備する。少なくとも2つの部分を食塩水で洗浄し、フリットはAUL測定前に少なくとも12時間にわたって食塩水に浸漬する。
Whatman Grade 1 円形ろ紙(直径:12.5cm)。
食塩水(0.9重量%塩化ナトリウム蒸留水溶液)の供給。
Aは、乾燥SAPを有するAULユニットの重量であり、
Bは60分間の吸収後のSAPを有するAULユニットの重量であり、
SAは実際のSAPの重量である。
Claims (17)
- i.水の存在下において多糖類を架橋剤としてのポリホスフェート又はポリリン酸と混合して多糖類ゲルを形成する工程と、
ii.前記多糖類ゲルを乾燥させる工程と、
iii.前記乾燥させた多糖類ゲルを粉砕して乾燥多糖類超吸収性ポリマー粒子を得る工程と、
iv.前記多糖類超吸収性ポリマー粒子を架橋剤としてのポリホスフェート又はポリリン酸で被覆する工程と、
v.前記被覆した多糖類超吸収性ポリマー粒子を加熱して表面架橋させる工程と、
vi.前記表面架橋多糖類超吸収性ポリマー粒子の表面を多価金属塩又は酸による処理から選択される処理によって処理する工程と、
を含み、
前記多価金属塩が、Al、Fe、Zr、Mg、Znから選択されるカチオンと、ハロゲン化物、クロロ水化物、硫酸塩、硝酸塩、酢酸塩から選択されるアニオンと、を含み、前記酸が、リン酸、酢酸、乳酸、クエン酸、グルコン酸から選択される、表面処理多糖類超吸収性ポリマー粒子の製造方法。 - 前記多糖類が未架橋ポリカルボキシ多糖類である、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記未架橋ポリカルボキシ多糖類のカルボキシル基の少なくとも50モル%が中和されている、請求項2に記載の方法。
- 前記架橋又は加熱を70〜180℃の温度で行う、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記架橋剤の混合工程を8〜12のpHで行う、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記多糖類と前記ポリホスフェート又は前記ポリリン酸との混合工程を、最初に前記ポリホスフェートを水に溶解し、前記ポリホスフェートの水溶液のpHを8〜12に設定し、前記ポリホスフェートの水溶液を未架橋多糖類と混合することによって行なう、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記多糖類の重量に対して0.001〜20重量%の前記架橋剤を前記多糖類と混合する、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記多糖類が、前記多糖類の全重量に対して20重量%未満の塩含有量を有する、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 表面処理多糖類超吸収性ポリマー粒子の製造方法であって、
a.水の存在下において多糖類を架橋剤としてのポリホスフェート又はポリリン酸と混合して多糖類ゲルを形成する工程と、
b.前記多糖類ゲルを乾燥させる工程と、
c.前記乾燥させた多糖類ゲルを粉砕して乾燥多糖類超吸収性ポリマー粒子を得る工程と、
d.前記多糖類超吸収性ポリマー粒子を架橋剤としてのポリホスフェート又はポリリン酸で被覆する工程と、
e.前記被覆した多糖類超吸収性ポリマー粒子を加熱して表面架橋させる工程と、
f.前記表面架橋多糖類超吸収性ポリマー粒子の表面を多価金属塩又は酸による処理から選択される処理によって処理する工程と、
を含み、
前記多価金属塩が、Al、Fe、Zr、Mg、Znから選択されるカチオンと、ハロゲン化物、クロロ水化物、硫酸塩、硝酸塩、酢酸塩から選択されるアニオンと、を含み、前記酸が、リン酸、酢酸、乳酸、クエン酸、グルコン酸から選択され、前記表面処理多糖類超吸収性ポリマー粒子が30日間の浸透率半減期を有する方法。 - 前記多糖類と前記ポリホスフェート又は前記ポリリン酸との混合工程を、最初に前記ポリホスフェートを水に溶解し、前記ポリホスフェートの水溶液のpHを8〜12に設定し、前記ポリホスフェートの水溶液を未架橋多糖類と混合することによって行なう、請求項9に記載の方法。
- 前記多糖類の重量に対して0.001〜20重量%の前記架橋剤を前記多糖類と混合する、請求項9に記載の方法。
- 前記多糖類が、前記多糖類の全重量に対して20重量%未満の塩含有量を有する、請求項9に記載の方法。
- a.多糖類ポリマーを架橋剤としてのホスフェート又はリン酸で架橋させて得られた多糖類ポリマーゲルを成形して得られた、150〜850μmの粒径を有する多糖類ポリマー粒子と、
b.ポリホスフェート及びポリリン酸から選択される表面架橋剤によって前記表面架橋剤と前記多糖類ポリマー粒子を架橋させて得られた表面架橋多糖類超吸収性ポリマー粒子と、
c.水溶性多価金属塩又は酸から選択される後架橋剤と、
を含み、
前記水溶性多価金属塩が、Al、Fe、Zr、Mg、Znから選択される金属カチオンを含み、前記酸が、リン酸、酢酸、乳酸、クエン酸、グルコン酸から選択され、前記後架橋剤を前記表面架橋多糖類超吸収性ポリマー粒子に塗布して形成された多糖類超吸収性ポリマー粒子。 - 30日間の浸透率半減期を有する、請求項13に記載の多糖類超吸収性ポリマー粒子。
- 前記超吸収性ポリマー粒子がアクリレート超吸収性ポリマーである、請求項13に記載の多糖類超吸収性ポリマー粒子。
- a.1〜40重量%の、30日間の浸透率半減期を有する多糖類超吸収性ポリマー粒子と、
b.60〜99重量%の、前記30日間の浸透率半減期を有する多糖類超吸収性ポリマー粒子とは異なる第2の超吸収性ポリマー粒子と、
を含み、
前記多糖類超吸収性ポリマー粒子が、
i)糖類ポリマーを架橋剤としてのホスフェート又はリン酸で架橋させて得られた多糖類ポリマーゲルを成形して得られた、150〜850μmの粒径を有する多糖類ポリマー粒子と、
ii)ポリホスフェート及びポリリン酸から選択される表面架橋剤によって前記表面架橋剤と前記多糖類ポリマー粒子を架橋させて得られた表面架橋多糖類超吸収性ポリマー粒子と、
iii)水溶性多価金属塩又は酸から選択される後架橋剤と、
を含み、
前記水溶性多価金属塩が、Al、Fe、Zr、Mg、Znから選択される金属カチオンを含み、前記酸が、リン酸、酢酸、乳酸、クエン酸、グルコン酸から選択され、前記後架橋剤を前記表面架橋多糖類超吸収性ポリマー粒子に塗布して形成された超吸収性材料。 - 前記第2の超吸収性ポリマー粒子がアクリレート超吸収性ポリマーである、請求項16に記載の超吸収性材料。
