Description
1. 担体及びその担体に担持された銀ナノワイヤーを含む触媒であって、担体が、ナトリウム、ジルコニウム、ケイ素及びリンを含む化合物である、エチレンを酸化することによりエチレンオキサイドを製造するために用いるエチレ
2. 銀ナノワイヤーの直径が5〜50nmであり、かつ、アスペクト比が10以上である、前記項1に記載のエチレンオキサイド製造用触媒。
3. 前記化合物がNASICON構造物である、前記項1に記載のエチレンオキサイド製造用触媒。
4. 担体100重量部に対して銀ナノワイヤー0.5〜100重量部が担持されている、前記項1に記載のエチレンオキサイド製造用触媒。
5. 銀イオンを含む担体に電子線を照射することによって得られる、前記項1に記載のエチレンオキサイド製造用触媒。
6. 銀イオンを含む担体が、

(但し、Bは、アルカリ金属元素、アルカリ土類金属元素、銅、亜鉛、水素及びアンモニウムの少なくとも1種である。Dは、3〜5価の金属イオンになりうる金属元素の少なくとも1種である。a、c、e、f、g及びhは、0<a、0≦c、1<a+c≦4、1≦e≦2、0≦f≦3、0≦g<3、10≦h≦15を満たす数である。)で示される化合物である、前記項5に記載のエチレンオキサイド製造用触媒。
7. 銀イオンを含む担体が、一般式Na1+xZr2P3−xO12(但し、xは、0≦x≦3を満たす。)で示されるリン酸ジルコニウム塩にイオン交換によって銀イオンを導入したものである、前記項5に記載のエチレンオキサイド製造用触媒。
8. 前記項1〜7のいずれかに記載のエチレンオキサイド製造用触媒の存在下においてエチレンを酸化することによってエチレンオキサイドを製造する方法。
(1)本発明触媒
本発明触媒は、担体及びその担体に担持された銀ナノワイヤーを含む触媒であって、エチレンを酸化することによりエチレンオキサイドを製造するために用いるエチレンオキサイド製造用触媒である。
一般式(1):AgaBcDeSifPgOh …(1)
(但し、Bは、アルカリ金属元素、アルカリ土類金属元素、銅、亜鉛、水素及びアンモニウムの少なくとも1種である。Dは、3〜5価の金属イオンになりうる金属元素の少なくとも1種である。a、c、e、f、g及びhは、0<a、0≦c、1<a+c≦4、1≦e≦2、0≦f≦3、0≦g<3、10≦h≦15を満たす数である。)で示される化合物がより好ましい。これらの数値の好ましい値は後記(2)の「本発明触媒の製造方法」で示したものと同様である。銀イオンを含む担体として、最も好ましくは、銀イオンを含む担体が、一般式Na1+xZr2SixP3−xO12(但し、xは、0≦x≦3を満たす。)で示されるリン酸ジルコニウム塩にイオン交換によって銀イオンを導入してなるものである。xは、好ましくは0<x≦3であり、より好ましくは0<x≦2.5、最も好ましくは0.5≦x≦2である。
本発明触媒は、例えば銀イオンを含む担体に電子線を照射することによって好適に製造することができる。
一般式(1):AgaBcDeSifPgOh …(1)
(但し、Bは、アルカリ金属元素、アルカリ土類金属元素、銅、亜鉛、水素及びアンモニウムの少なくとも1種である。Dは、3〜5価の金属イオンになりうる金属元素の少なくとも1種である。a、c、e、f、g及びhは、0<a、0≦c、1<a+c≦4、1≦e≦2、0≦f≦3、0≦g<3、10≦h≦15を満たす数である。)で示される化合物を用いることが好ましい。特に、銀イオンを含む担体として、銀イオンを含む担体が、一般式Na1+xZr2SixP3−xO12(但し、xは、0≦x≦3を満たす。)で示されるリン酸ジルコニウム塩にイオン交換によって銀イオンを導入してなるものがより好ましい。xは、好ましくは0<x≦3であり、より好ましくは0<x≦2.5、最も好ましくは0.5≦x≦2である。

(B’は、アルカリ金属元素及びアルカリ土類金属元素からなる群から選ばれる少なくとも1種であり、D、a、c、e、f、g及びhは、上記(前記一般式(1))のとおりである。)
Na2.5Zr2Si1.5P15O12 …(3)
本発明は、本発明触媒(エチレンオキサイド製造用触媒)の存在下においてエチレンを酸化することによってエチレンオキサイドを製造する方法を包含する。
(1)触媒の調製
出発原料としてリン酸ジルコニウム、炭酸ナトリウム、二酸化ケイ素及び酸化ジルコニウムをモル比がZr(HPO4)2:Na2CO3:SiO2:ZrO2=0.75:1.25:1.5:1.25となるように正確に量り取り、よく混合した。これを1200℃(昇温速度:100℃/hr)にて3時間焼成し、NASICON(Na2.5Zr2Si1.5P1.5O12)を得た。得られたNASICON(3g)を1NのHCl(1000mL)に添加し、室温にて3時間撹拌した。撹拌後、ろ過、洗浄、乾燥により、H+型NASICON(H2.5Zr2.0Si1.5P1.5O12)を得た。次いで、得られたH+型NASICON(3.0g)を0.1Nの硝酸銀溶液300mLに添加し、室温にて3時間撹拌した。撹拌後、ろ過、洗浄、乾燥により、Ag型NASICONを得た。銀含有量は、硝酸銀水溶液の初期濃度とイオン交換後の平衡濃度を原子吸光分析法により測定し、その差からAg型NASICONのAgの含有量を算出したところ、36.2重量%のAgを含むことがわかった。

電子線量:1000kGy
加速電圧:300kV
電子線電流:30.7mA
コンベア速度:10m/min
酸素濃度:0ppm(窒素雰囲気)
温度:30℃
前記(1)で得られたTEM−Ag/NASICONを触媒として用い、エチレンの直接気相酸化によるエチレンオキサイドの合成を実施した。
反応生成物の分析は、熱伝導型検出器(TCD)を装備したオンラインガスクロマトグラフ(SHIMAZU GC−8APT)と積分器(SHIMAZU C−R6A)を用いて行い、キャリアガスはヘリウムとした。
Claims (8)
- 担体及びその担体に担持された銀ナノワイヤーを含む触媒であって、担体が、ナトリウム、ジルコニウム、ケイ素及びリンを含む化合物である、エチレンを酸化することによりエチレンオキサイドを製造するために用いるエチレンオキサイド製造用触媒。
- 銀ナノワイヤーの直径が5〜50nmであり、かつ、アスペクト比が10以上である、請求項1に記載のエチレンオキサイド製造用触媒。
- 前記化合物がNASICON構造物である、請求項1に記載のエチレンオキサイド製造用触媒。
- 担体100重量部に対して銀ナノワイヤー0.5〜100重量部が担持されている、請求項1に記載のエチレンオキサイド製造用触媒。
- 銀イオンを含む担体に電子線を照射することによって得られる、請求項1に記載のエチレンオキサイド製造用触媒。
