Claims (17)
- 嵌合面と、位置合わせされた第1のポートおよび第2のポートの対としてその中に構成される複数のポートとを有するハウジングであって、各ポートがその中に嵌合可能なコネクタを受け入れるように構成されるハウジングと、
該ハウジングに位置する少なくとも1つの内部のジャックモジュールであって、該ジャックモジュールがその前方端部と後方端部との間に延在する概して平面的な導電性の基準平面を備えた多層回路基板を含み、導電性接点の第1のアセンブリおよび第2のアセンブリが前記多層回路基板の対向する側面上に配置され、前記基準平面の前方部分が位置合わせされた第1のポートおよび第2のポートの対の間に位置し、第1のアセンブリの各導電性接点の一部が前記第1のポートの中に嵌合可能なコネクタを挿入すると嵌合可能なコネクタの接点を係合するために前記第1のポートのうちの1つの中に延在し、第2のアセンブリの各導電性接点の一部が嵌合可能なコネクタを前記第2のポートの中に挿入すると嵌合可能なコネクタの接点を係合するためにそれぞれの第1のポートと位置合わせされた第2のポートの中に延在する、少なくとも1つの内部のジャックモジュールと、を備え、
前記多層回路基板が、前記基準平面およびモジュラージャックの導電性の遮蔽部材に電気的に接続される基準接点であって、前記基準平面にはバイアを介して電気的に接続される基準接点を含む、
モジュラージャック。 - 前記多層回路基板が複数の信号トレースを含む、請求項1に記載のモジュラージャック。
- 前記多層回路基板の前方端部および前記基準平面の前方部分が、概して前記ハウジングの嵌合面まで延在する、請求項2に記載のモジュラージャック。
- 前記多層回路基板の前方端部および前記基準平面の前方部分が、前記位置合わせされた第1のポートと第2のポートとの間のハウジング内の長孔の中に延在する、請求項3に記載のモジュラージャック。
- 前記基準接点が、概して前記ハウジングの嵌合面に隣接して配置される概して平面的なコンタクトパッドである、請求項4に記載のモジュラージャック。
- 前記導電性の遮蔽部材が、概して前記ハウジングを取り囲む金属遮蔽部材である、請求項5に記載のモジュラージャック。
- 前記導電性の遮蔽部材が、前記ハウジングの前面、側面、頂面、および後面を実質的に取り囲むシールドである、請求項6に記載のモジュラージャック。
- 前記ポートが縦に整列されている、請求項1に記載のモジュラージャック。
- 各ジャックモジュールが、第1の磁性物質アセンブリおよび第2の磁性物質アセンブリを含み、各磁性物質アセンブリが、その周りに複数のワイヤを巻き付けられたトランスコアを含み、前記第1の磁性物質アセンブリのワイヤのいくつかが、前記多層回路基板の中に延在する第1のピンを通して前記第1のアセンブリの導電性接点のいくつかに電気的に接続され、前記第2の磁性物質アセンブリのワイヤのいくつかが、前記多層回路基板の中に延在する第2のピンを通して前記第2のアセンブリの導電性接点のいくつかに電気的に接続される、請求項1に記載のモジュラージャック。
- 嵌合面と、位置合わせされた第1のポートおよび第2のポートの対とを有するハウジングであって、各ポートがその中に嵌合可能な構成部品を受け入れるように構成され、各ポートが前面と後壁とを有する、ハウジングと、
複数の導電性接点であって、各導電性接点の一部が、前記ポートのうちの1つの中に嵌合可能な構成部品を挿入すると嵌合可能な構成部品の接点を係合するために前記ポートのうちの1つに配置される、複数の導電性接点と、
その前方端部と後方端部との間に延在する概して平面的な導電性の基準平面付きの多層回路基板であって、前記基準平面の前方部分が、前記後壁と前記前面との間で少なくとも部分的に延在するように構成される、多層回路基板と、
前記嵌合面に沿って延在する導電性の遮蔽部材と、を備え、
前記多層回路基板が、前記基準平面および前記導電性の遮蔽部材に電気的に接続される少なくとも1つの基準接点であって、前記基準平面にはバイアを介して電気的に接続される基準接点を含む、
電気コネクタ。 - 前記多層回路基板が複数の信号トレースを含む、請求項10に記載の電気コネクタ。
- 前記多層回路基板の前方端部および前記基準平面の前方部分が、概して前記ハウジングの嵌合面に延在する、請求項10に記載の電気コネクタ。
- 前記多層回路基板の前方端部および前記基準平面の前方部分が、前記第1のポートと前記第2のポートとの間で前記ハウジング内の長孔の中に延在する、請求項12に記載の電気コネクタ。
- 前記少なくとも1つの基準接点が、概して前記ハウジングの嵌合面に隣接して配置される概して平面的なコンタクトパッドである、請求項10に記載の電気コネクタ。
- 前記導電性の遮蔽部材が、概して前記ハウジングを取り囲む金属遮蔽部材である、請求項14に記載の電気コネクタ。
- 前記導電性の遮蔽部材が、前記ハウジングの前面、側面、頂面、および後面を実質的に取り囲むシールドである、請求項15に記載の電気コネクタ。
- 嵌合面と、位置合わせされた第1のジャック開口部および第2のジャック開口部の対としてその中に構成される複数の開口部とを有するハウジングであって、各ジャック開口部がその中に嵌合可能なコネクタを受け入れるように構成されるハウジングと、
該ハウジングに支持され、前記嵌合面に位置するクリップと、
前記ハウジングに位置し、前方端部及び後方端部を備える少なくとも1つのサブアセンブリモジュールであって、該サブアセンブリモジュールが前記前方端部と前記後方端部との間に延在する概して平面的な導電性の基準平面を備えた回路部材を含み、接地コンタクトパッドの第1のセットおよび第2のセットが前記回路部材の対向する側面上に配置され、前記基準平面の前方部分が位置合わせされた第1のジャック開口部および第2のジャック開口部の前記対の間に位置する、少なくとも1つのサブアセンブリモジュールと、を備え、
前記クリップが前記回路部材に電気的に接続される、
モジュラージャック。
