Description
Claims (7)
- 管材(1)の端部に内嵌して、他の継手に接続するための継手本体(11)と、前記管材(1)の端部外周面を締め付けて、前記管材(1)の端部を前記継手本体(11)に押圧するための締付部材(12)とを備え、前記締付部材(12)は、前記管材(1)の端部外周面を半周ずつ覆う一対の半割外装体(20A)(20B)を、前記管材(1)の端部を挟み込むように組み付けることで、これら半割外装体(20A)(20B)の内周面に沿って着脱可能に夫々装着した一対の半割弾性パッキン(21)(21)を、前記管材(1)の端部外周面の周方向全長に亘って押し付けるように構成してなり、前記一対の半割外装体(20A)(20B)に、その外周面と内周面とに跨る貫通孔(27)(27)(28)を夫々形成し、前記一対の半割弾性パッキン(21)(21)の外周面に、前記半割外装体(20A)(20B)への装着時に前記貫通孔(27)(27)(28)に挿着する突起(42)(42)(43)を夫々形成した管端継手であって、前記管材(1)は、その外周面に螺旋状の凸部(4)を有する螺旋波形管からなり、前記一対の半割弾性パッキン(21)(21)は、同形状であって、その内周面に前記凸部(4)に嵌合する凹溝(41)を夫々有し、前記一対の半割外装体(20A)(20B)を組み付けた状態において、一方の半割外装体(20A)に装着した半割弾性パッキン(21)と他方の半割外装体(20B)に装着した半割弾性パッキン(21)の管軸方向の向きが必然的に互いに逆向き状態となって、前記一対の半割弾性パッキン(21)(21)の凹溝(41)(41)が前記凸部(4)に対応した螺旋状に連続するように、前記一対の半割弾性パッキン(21)(21)における突起(42)(42)(43)を、前記の互いに逆向き状態としたときの前記半割外装体(20A)(20B)に対する配置が異なるように形成するとともに、前記一対の半割外装体(20A)(20B)における貫通孔(27)(27)(28)を、前記突起(42)(42)(43)の配置に対応して、一方の半割外装体(20A)と他方の半割外装体(20B)とで互いに配置が異なるように形成したことを特徴とする管端継手。
- 前記貫通孔(27)(27)に、前記突起(42)(42)に食い込んで前記突起(42)(42)の抜けを規制する抜け規制部(27a)(27a)を形成した請求項1記載の管端継手。
- 前記突起(43)に、前記半割弾性パッキン(21)の種類を示す識別表示(44)を
施した請求項1又は2記載の管端継手。 - 前記一対の半割外装体(20A)(20B)は、半筒状の本体部(22)と、この本体部(22)の軸方向に沿った両端部分から径外方向に張り出した一対の連結部(23)(23)とを夫々備え、一方の半割外装体(20A)の連結部(23)(23)と他方の半割外装体(20B)の連結部(23)(23)とを重ね合わせるように、これら連結部(23)・・のボルト挿通孔(29)・・に挿通したボルト(30)・・にナット(31)・・を螺合して締め付けることで、前記一対の半割外装体(20A)(20B)を組み付けるように構成してなり、この組み付け前の状態において、前記本体部(22)の内周面の周方向全長に亘って装着した前記半割弾性パッキン(21)の軸方向に沿った両端部分(40a)(40a)を、前記一対の連結部(23)(23)の重ね合わせ面(23a)(23a)からはみ出させた請求項1乃至3のいずれかに記載の管端継手。
- 前記継手本体(11)は、前記管材(1)の端部に内嵌する嵌合筒部(13)と、前記他の継手に接続する接続部(14)と、前記嵌合筒部(13)と接続部(14)との間において径外方向に張り出して、前記管材(1)の端面に当接するフランジ部(15)とを備え、前記一対の半割外装体(20A)(20B)の内周面に、前記フランジ部(15)が嵌り込む嵌合溝(26)を夫々形成した請求項1乃至4のいずれかに記載の管端継手。
- 前記一対の半割外装体(20A)(20B)は、アルミニウム製である請求項1乃至5のいずれかに記載の管端継手。
- 前記一対の半割外装体(20A)(20B)は、ステンレス製である請求項1乃至5のいずれかに記載の管端継手。
