Claims (3)
- 荷電粒子を加速して荷電粒子線を出射する加速器と、
前記荷電粒子線を被照射体へ照射する照射部と、
前記加速器から出射された前記荷電粒子線を前記照射部へ輸送するダクトと、
前記照射部内で前記荷電粒子線の進路上に配置され、内部に不活性ガスが充填されると共に、荷電粒子線を透過させる粒子線透過フィルムを入口及び出口に有する筒体と、
前記筒体内に不活性ガスを供給するガス供給手段と、
前記筒体の内部圧力が設定圧以上のときに前記筒体内の不活性ガスを外部にリークするリーク弁と、を備え、
前記ガス供給手段は、不活性ガスの供給量が各々異なる複数の供給ラインを有することを特徴とする荷電粒子線照射装置。 - 前記複数の供給ラインには、前記筒体の内部圧力を所定値に維持するための圧力維持用供給ラインと、前記筒体内の圧力を調整するための調整用供給ラインと、前記筒体内の空気を不活性ガスに置換するための置換用供給ラインと、が含まれ、
前記圧力維持用供給ラインの不活性ガスの供給量より前記調整用供給ラインの不活性ガスの供給量は大きく、前記調整用供給ラインの不活性ガスの供給量より前記置換用供給ラインの不活性ガスの供給量は大きいことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の荷電粒子線照射装置。 - 前記筒体内部の空気を吸引するための吸引ポンプを更に備え、
前記吸引ポンプは、前記複数の供給ラインのうち少なくとも一つの供給ラインを利用して前記筒体内部の空気を吸引することを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の荷電粒子線照射装置。
