Description

Claims (10)
- 組織を超音波で治療する装置であって、
プローブと、
流体循環システムと、
を含み、
前記プローブは、
前記組織の直近に位置付け可能で、超音波エネルギーの放射とその感知により組織を画像化するように構成されると共に、超音波エネルギーの放射により組織を治療するように構成されたトランスジューサと、
前記トランスジューサに接続され、前記組織に対して前記トランスジューサを位置付けるように構成された位置付け部材と、
前記トランスジューサの正面の隣接エリアを含む流体経路と流体連通している、流体注入口と流体排出口と、を含み、
前記流体循環システムは、前記プローブの前記流体注入口と前記流体排出口とに流体連通しており、
前記流体循環システムは、
前記流体循環システム及び前記プローブの前記流体経路の全体にわたって流体を循環させるように構成されたポンプと、
前記流体の温度を下げるように構成された冷却装置と、
前記流体より溶存ガスを除去するように構成された脱気装置(degasser)と、
前記流体が通過する流体貯蔵部を含み、追加流体を前記流体循環システムに追加し、且つ前記流体循環システムより流体を除去するように構成された流体調整部材であって、前記流体貯蔵部に流体連通している流体調整部材と、
第1の流体回路と第2の流体回路とを含み、
前記第2の流体回路中の流体は、前記流体貯蔵部を通って前記第1の流体回路に入り、前記第1の流体回路中の流体は、前記流体貯蔵部を通って前記第2の流体回路に入れるように、前記第1の流体回路は、前記プローブの流体経路と前記冷却装置と前記流体貯蔵部とに流体連通し、前記第2の流体回路は、前記脱気装置と前記流体貯蔵部とに流体連通しており、
前記流体貯蔵部は、2つの流入口及びと2つの出力口及びを含み、前記2つの流入口のうちの1つである第1の入力口と前記2つの出力口のうちの1つである第1の出力口は前記第1の流体回路の一部を形成し、前記2つの流入口のうちの他の1つである第2の流入口と前記2つの出力口のうちの他の1つである第2の出力口は前記第2の流体回路の一部を形成する、
組織を治療する装置。 - 前記ポンプは、前記第1の流体回路の一部であり、第2のポンプは、前記第2の流体回路の一部であり、前記第2のポンプは、前記第2の流体回路の前記流体を循環させる、請求項1に記載の装置。
- さらに、前記トランスジューサと前記位置付け部材とに操作可能に接続されたコントローラを含み、
前記コントローラは、前記位置付け部材を使用して前記トランスジューサを前記組織に対して位置付けし、かつ前記トランスジューサを、前記トランスジューサで感知される超音波エネルギーから前記組織の画像が得られる撮像モードと、複数の治療部位が前記トランスジューサによるHIFU療法で治療される治療モードで、動作させるように構成されている、請求項1に記載の装置。 - 前記ポンプと前記第2のポンプは、それぞれに略同時に電力が供給されるように、電気的に一緒に接続される、請求項2に記載の装置。
- 前記脱気装置は、前記流体が通過する複数の空気透過性の流体管を有するフィルターと、前記フィルターに接続される真空ポンプとを含み、前記真空ポンプは、前記空気透過性の流体管の外側の部分にかかる圧力を削減し、前記空気透過性の流体管より前記流体中の溶解空気を取り出す、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記流体調整部材は、注射器である、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記プローブは、前記トランスジューサの前記正面に隣接するエリアを含めて前記プローブの第1の部分を取り囲む伸張性の膜をさらに含む、請求項5に記載の装置。
- 前記位置付け部材は、前記トランスジューサを、前記プローブの長軸に沿って、かつ前記プローブの長軸の周りに回転可能に位置付けし、前記伸張性の膜は、前記トランスジューサを、前記長軸に直交する方向に沿って前記組織に対して位置付ける、請求項7に記載の装置。
- さらに、前記トランスジューサと前記位置付け部材とに操作可能に接続されたコントローラを含み、
前記コントローラは、前記位置付け部材で前記トランスジューサを位置付けし、かつ前記トランスジューサを、前記トランスジューサで感知される超音波エネルギーから前記組織の画像が得られる撮像モードと、複数の治療部位が前記トランスジューサによるHIFU療法で治療される治療モードで、動作させるように構成されている、請求項8に記載の装置。 - 前記ポンプ及び前記真空ポンプは、それぞれに略同時に電力が供給されるように、電気的に一緒に接続される、請求項8に記載の装置。
