Description
(RIO)mR’(COORII)n(CONRIIIRIV)s
式中、R’は、炭素原子数が2〜20、より具体的には2〜10の直鎖あるいは分枝鎖の飽和脂肪族炭化水素であり、RIは、水素、あるいは炭素原子数が1〜10、より具体的には1〜6、さらにより具体的には1〜4のアルキル基、アリール基、アシル基またはカルボニルジオキシ基であり、RIIは、それぞれ独立に、水素、あるいは炭素原子数が1〜20、より具体的には1〜10のアルキル基またはアリール基であり、RIIIとRIVは、それぞれ独立に、水素、あるいは炭素原子数が1〜10、より具体的には1〜6、さらにより具体的には1〜4のアルキル基またはアリール基であり、mは1であり、(n+s)は2以上、より具体的には2または3であり、nおよびsはそれぞれ0以上であり、(ORI)は、カルボニル基に対してαまたはβであり、少なくとも2つのカルボニル基が2〜6個の炭素原子によって分離されている。それぞれの置換基の炭素原子数が6個未満の場合、RI、RII、RIIIおよびRIVはアリールではあり得ないことは明らかである。

ρcomposite=VHMC×ρHMC+Vmatrix×ρmatrix
式中、ρcompositeは混合物の密度、VHMCは中空ガラスビーズの体積分率、ρHMCは中空ガラスビーズの密度、Vmatrixはポリマーマトリックスの体積分率、ρmatrixはポリマーマトリックスの密度である。炉内で該ペレットを550℃×12時間で炭化し、配合中に押出機に供給した中空ガラスビーズの実際の量を求めた。

Claims (10)
- 金属を含む枠と、少なくとも一部を前記枠で囲まれた絶縁棒と、を有するドアまたは窓用断熱性構造部材であって、
前記絶縁棒は、約55〜約95重量%の相溶化ポリアミド−ポリ(アリーレンエーテル)組成物と、約5〜約45重量%の中空ガラスビーズと、を含む熱可塑性組成物を含み、
前記中空ガラスビーズは、約20〜約60μmの容積平均粒径と、約0.3〜約0.5g/mLの真密度と、約30〜約60MPaのアイソスタチック破砕強度とを有し、
前記熱可塑性組成物は、5重量%未満の繊維強化材を含むことを特徴とする断熱性構造部材。 - 前記熱可塑性組成物の25℃における密度は約0.8〜約1g/mLである請求項1に記載の断熱性構造部材。
- 前記相溶化ポリアミド−ポリ(アリーレンエーテル)組成物は、前記ポリ(アリーレンエーテル)と前記ポリアミドとを重量比が約0.5:1〜約1.2:1の範囲で含む請求項1または2に記載の断熱性構造部材。
- 前記熱可塑性組成物は、約0.5〜約2重量%の低密度ポリエチレンと、約0.02〜約0.1重量%の、フッ化ビニリデンとヘキサフルオロプロピレンの共重合体と、をさらに含む請求項1乃至3のいずれか1項に記載の断熱性構造部材。
- 前記熱可塑性組成物は、約2〜約30重量%の、ゴム変性ポリスチレン、ポリスチレン−ポリ(エチレン−ブチレン)−ポリスチレントリブロック共重合体あるいはこれらの組合せをさらに含む請求項1乃至4のいずれか1項に記載の断熱性構造部材。
- 前記絶縁棒の肉厚は約0.2〜約4mmであり、
前記相溶化ポリアミド−ポリ(アリーレンエーテル)組成物は、
25℃のクロロホルム中で測定した固有粘度が約0.3〜約0.6dL/gのポリ(2,6−ジメチル−1,4−フェニレンエーテル)を含む、約32〜約45重量%の前記ポリ(アリーレンエーテル)と、
ポリアミド−6,6を含む、約32〜約45重量%の前記ポリアミドと、
約0.15〜約2重量%の、前記ポリ(2,6−ジメチル−1,4−フェニレンエーテル)と前記ポリアミド−6,6に対する相溶化剤と、
約15〜約25重量%の前記中空ガラスビーズと、を含む溶融混合成分の生成物であり、
前記熱可塑性組成物の熱伝導率は、ASTM E1530に準拠し、直径が40mm、厚みが3.4mmのディスクを用い50℃で測定して、0.2watts/meter−Kelvin以下である請求項1に記載の断熱性構造部材。 - 前記溶融混合成分は、約3〜約13重量%のゴム変性ポリスチレンをさらに含む請求項6に記載の断熱性構造部材。
- 前記溶融混合成分は、約0.5〜約2重量%の低密度ポリエチレンと、約0.02〜約0.1重量%の、フッ化ビニリデンとヘキサフルオロプロピレンの共重合体と、をさらに含む請求項6または7に記載の断熱性構造部材。
- 請求項1、2、6および7のいずれか1項に記載の断熱性構造部材を含むことを特徴とする窓またはドア。
- 約55〜約95重量%の相溶化ポリアミド−ポリ(アリーレンエーテル)組成物と、約5〜約45重量%の中空ガラスビーズと、を含む熱可塑性組成物であって、前記中空ガラスビーズが、約20〜約60μmの容積平均粒径と、約0.3〜約0.5g/mLの真密度と、約30〜約60MPaのアイソスタチック破砕強度とを有し、前記熱可塑性組成物が、5重量%未満の繊維強化材を含む熱可塑性組成物を含む絶縁棒の少なくとも一部を金属枠内で囲むステップを備えることを特徴とする、ドアまたは窓用断熱性構造部材の熱伝導率低減方法。
