Description
Tは、ポリアミン又はポリイミンであり、

Yは、一般式2
nは、1〜1000の数である]
で示されるアクリレート残基である]で示される液状ポリアミン−g−ポリアクリレート−グラフトコポリマーブレンド、又は式1とYとの混合物に関し、その際、該ポリアミン−g−ポリアクリレート−グラフトコポリマーブレンドは、42100g/mol〜150000g/molの質量平均分子量、及び3より大きい多分散性Mw/Mnを有する。
本明細書で使用される"グラフトコポリマー"と言う用語は、いわゆる"grafting from"法によって製造されるコポリマーを言う。アクリレート基は、ポリアミン主鎖に沿って側基として結合される。その側鎖は、ポリアミン主鎖にグラフトされた後に蓄積される。
本発明のポリアミン−g−ポリアクリレート−グラフトコポリマーブレンドは、遊離基開始剤の存在下で、有機溶剤中でポリアミンとアクリレートモノマーとを共重合することによって製造され、その際、
1.ポリアミンとアクリレートモノマーとの質量比は、1:5〜1:100の範囲であり、
2.遊離基開始剤とアクリレートモノマーとの質量比は、1:5〜1:100の範囲であり、
3.その方法を、10℃〜200℃の温度で、不活性ガス雰囲気下で、ワンポットで実施し、
4.該方法は、少なくとも、ポリアミンアミド又はポリアミンイミドを得るためのアクリレートとポリアミンとのエステル交換反応、ポリアミンアクリレートを得るためのポリアミンとアクリレートモノマーとのマイケル付加反応、及びポリアミン−g−ポリアクリレートを得るためのポリアミンとアクリレートモノマーとのグラフト共重合を含む。
種々の分子量を有するポリエチレンイミンは、Nippon Shukubai社から市販の製品である。
ポリアミン−g−ポリアクリレート−グラフトコポリマーブレンドは、広い適用分野、例えば塗料、インク、電子材料において、特に低い温度及び低い粘度適用において分散剤として使用されうる。
実施例1
PEI SP−200(MW10000)5.0g、BA 50.0g、AIBN6.3g、及びトルエン85mLの混合物を、窒素下で、35℃で24時間、そして60℃で70時間撹拌した。そして、トルエンを、減圧系下で取り除いた。その生成物を、黄色い液体として得た。
実施例2〜64を、ポリアミン、アクリレートモノマー、遊離基開始剤、及び反応条件のタイプ及び量を、以下の第1表において記載されているように変動させることを除いて、全て実施例1と同様の方法で製造した。
得られた試料の分散効果を試験するために、樹脂を有さない顔料濃縮物を、調合物1によって製造した。そのミルベースを、Scandex振とう機中で、1.5時間、ガラスビーズを使用して分散した。その後、該ミルベースを濾過し、そして室温で一昼夜保持した。試験のためのレットダウン(let−down)(調合物2)は、焼き付けエナメル、CABベースコート及びTPAベースコートに基づいた。調合物3は、焼き付けエナメル、CABペイント、及びTPAペイントのためのペイント調合物を示す。そのペイント配合物を、5分間2000rpmで、高速撹拌下で、混合し、そしてポリエステル膜上で、35〜75μmの膜厚で適用した。ドローダウン(draw−down)の製造後に、ペイントの残りを、注ぎ試験のために、酢酸ブチルで1:1で希釈した。
Claims (5)
- ポリアミンがポリエチレンイミンであり、R1が水素又はメチルであり、R2がC1-20アルキルであり、かつnが5〜100である、請求項1に記載の液体混合物。
- 請求項1又は2で定義された液体混合物を、遊離基開始剤の存在下で、有機溶剤中でポリアミンとアクリレートモノマーとを共重合することにより製造する方法において、
1.ポリアミンとアクリレートモノマーとの質量比が、1:5〜1:100の範囲であり、
2.遊離基開始剤とアクリレートモノマーとの質量比が、1:5〜1:100の範囲であり、
3.該方法を、10℃〜200℃の温度で、不活性ガス雰囲気下で、ワンポットで実施し、
4.該方法は、少なくとも、ポリアミンアミド又はポリアミンイミドを得るためのアクリレートとポリアミンとのエステル交換反応、ポリアミンアクリレートを得るためのポリアミンとアクリレートモノマーとのマイケル付加反応、及びポリアミン−g−ポリアクリレートを得るためのポリアミンとアクリレートモノマーとのグラフト重合を含む、
製造方法。 - 請求項3に記載の方法によって得ることができる、液体混合物。
- 分散剤としての、請求項1、2または4に記載の液体混合物の使用。
