Claims (10)
- その各々が半導体放射線検出器に入射した放射線の検出タイミングを示すタイミング情報を出力する時間弁別回路及び前記放射線のエネルギーレベルを示すエネルギー情報を出力するエネルギー弁別回路を有する複数のチャンネルを有する読み出し用特定用途向け集積回路(ASIC)であって、前記半導体放射線検出器から複数の信号を受け取るように構成されたASICと、
ASICと電気的に結合させると共にASICからのディジタル出力の生成に使用される基準信号をASICに提供するように構成されたディジタル対アナログ変換器(DAC)と、
ASIC並びにDACに対して電気的に結合させた制御器であって、基準信号をASICに提供させるようにDACに指令するように構成された制御器と、
を備え、
前記基準信号の電圧が前記複数の信号の電圧を超えて上昇したときに、その時点を示す前記タイミング情報が出力される、
データ収集システム。 - 前記基準信号の電圧と前記複数の信号の電圧に基づいて前記タイミング情報を出力する比較器を備える、請求項1に記載のデータ収集システム。
- 前記ASICはさらに、その個数が前記チャンネルの数より少ないような複数のアナログ対ディジタル変換器を備える、請求項1または2に記載のデータ収集システム。
- 前記ASICは、前記タイミング情報及び前記エネルギー情報を同時に出力するように構成されている、請求項1乃至3のいずれかに記載のデータ収集システム。
- 前記制御器は、複数の信号がASICにより放射線検出器から受け取られた後に該複数の信号を処理するための第1のASICクロック周波数を設定するように構成され、かつ該複数の信号の処理が完了した後に第2のASICクロック周波数を設定するように構成されており、該第1のASICクロック周波数は該第2のASICクロック周波数より大きい、請求項1乃至4のいずれかに記載のデータ収集システム。
- 前記制御器は、複数のチャンネルのうち放射線検出器から検出放射線を示す信号を受け取ったチャンネルにアナログ対ディジタル変換器を割り当てるように構成されている、請求項1乃至5のいずれかに記載のデータ収集システム。
- 前記半導体放射線検出器が放射線を検出したことを表す放射線イベントに応答して入力されるHITフラグを保存し、前記制御器にイベントトリガを出力するHITレジスタを備え、
前記制御器は、複数のチャンネルのうちのどのチャンネルが放射線検出器から信号を受け取ったかを決定するように前記HITレジスタに問い合わせるように構成されている、請求項1乃至6のいずれかに記載のデータ収集システム。 - 前記複数のチャンネルの出力を比較器の第1の入力に接続するマルチプレクサを備える、請求項1乃至7のいずれかに記載のデータ収集システム。
- 放射線が検出されたときに電気信号を出力するように構成された前記半導体放射線検出器と、
請求項2乃至8のいずれかに記載のデータ収集システムと、
を備える放射線検出システム。 - 前記半導体放射線検出器は、テルル化カドミウム放射線検出器とテルル化カドミウム亜鉛(CZT)放射線検出器のうちの一方を含む、請求項9に記載の放射線検出システム。
