Claims (25)
- 触覚装置であって、
ハウジングと、
サスペンションを介して前記ハウジングに結合されたタッチスクリーンと、
前記タッチスクリーンに直接結合され、且つ前記ハウジングには直接結合されていないアクチュエータと、
を備え、
前記アクチュエータが第1の周波数で第1の振動を発生させる際には、前記第1の振動が前記ハウジングから隔離され、前記タッチスクリーンとの接触を介して第1の形式の触覚効果を感知させ、且つ前記アクチュエータが第2の周波数で第2の振動を発生させる際には、前記第2の振動が前記ハウジングに伝えられ、前記ハウジングとの接触を介して第2の形式の触覚効果を感知させるように、前記サスペンションは適合され、
前記第1の周波数は、前記第2の周波数及び前記アクチュエータの共振周波数よりも大きく、前記第1の形式の触覚効果は、前記タッチスクリーンとの接触に応答して、機械式ボタンの押圧をシミュレートする、触覚装置。
- 前記第1の周波数は、200Hzを超える、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記第2の周波数は、100Hz乃至200Hzである、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記アクチュエータは、リニア共振アクチュエータである、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記サスペンションは、発泡材料を含む、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記発泡材料は、PORON(登録商標)を含む、請求項5に記載の装置。
- 前記第1の振動は、前記タッチスクリーン上の接触に応答して、前記タッチスクリーンに印加される、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記第2の振動は、通知を提供する、請求項1に記載の装置。
- ハウジングと、タッチスクリーンとを備えた装置を操作する方法であって、該方法は、
アクチュエータによって第1の周波数で第1の振動を発生させるステップを含み、前記第1の振動は、前記タッチスクリーンに結合されたサスペンションによって、前記ハウジングから隔離されており、且つ前記タッチスクリーンとの接触を介して第1の形式の触覚効果を感知させ、
該方法は、前記アクチュエータによって第2の周波数で第2の振動を発生させるステップを含み、前記第2の振動は、前記ハウジングに伝えられ、且つ前記ハウジングとの接触を介して第2の形式の触覚効果を感知させ、
前記アクチュエータは、前記タッチスクリーンに直接結合され、且つ前記ハウジングには直接結合されておらず、
前記第1の周波数は、前記第2の周波数及び前記アクチュエータの共振周波数よりも大きく、前記第1の形式の触覚効果は、前記タッチスクリーンとの接触に応答して、機械式ボタンの押圧をシミュレートする、方法。
- 前記第1の周波数は、200Hzを超える、請求項9に記載の方法。
- 前記第2の周波数は、100Hz乃至200Hzである、請求項9に記載の方法。
- 前記第1の振動を発生させるステップは、前記タッチスクリーン上の接触の検出の応答として行われる、請求項9に記載の方法。
- 前記第2の振動を発生させるステップは、通知を提供する必要性に応答して行われる、請求項9に記載の方法。
- 携帯型装置であって、
ハウジングと
前記ハウジングに結合されたタッチスクリーンと、
前記ハウジングに結合されたサスペンションと、
前記タッチスクリーンに直接結合され、且つ前記ハウジングには直接結合されていないアクチュエータと、
第1の周波数で第1の振動を発生させ、第2の周波数で第2の振動を発生させるように適合された、前記アクチュエータに結合された制御器と、
を備え、
前記サスペンションは、前記第1の振動を前記ハウジングから隔離させ、且つ前記第2の振動を前記ハウジングに印加するように適合されており、
前記第1の振動は、前記タッチスクリーンとの接触を介して第1の形式の触覚効果を感知させ、且つ前記第2の振動は、前記ハウジングとの接触を介して第2の形式の触覚効果を感知させ、
前記第1の周波数は、前記第2の周波数及び前記アクチュエータの共振周波数よりも大きく、前記第1の形式の触覚効果は、前記タッチスクリーンとの接触に応答して、機械式ボタンの押圧をシミュレートする、携帯型装置。
- 前記第1の周波数は、200Hzを超える、請求項14に記載の装置。
- 前記第2の周波数は、100Hz乃至200Hzである、請求項14に記載の装置。
- 前記アクチュエータは、リニア共振アクチュエータである、請求項14に記載の装置。

前記アクチュエータによって第2の周波数で第2の振動を発生させるための手段であって、前記第2の振動は、前記ハウジングに伝えられる、第2の周波数で第2の振動を発生させるための手段と、
を含み、
前記第1の振動は、前記タッチスクリーンとの接触を介して第1の形式の触覚効果を感知させ、且つ前記第2の振動は、前記ハウジングとの接触を介して第2の形式の触覚効果を感知させ、
前記第1の周波数は、前記第2の周波数及び前記アクチュエータの共振周波数よりも大きく、前記第1の形式の触覚効果は、前記タッチスクリーンとの接触に応答して、機械式ボタンの押圧をシミュレートする、携帯型装置。
- 前記アクチュエータは、圧電物質アクチュエータである、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記アクチュエータは、圧電物質アクチュエータである、請求項9に記載の方法。
- 前記アクチュエータは、圧電物質アクチュエータである、請求項14に記載の装置。
