Claims (3)
- 強磁性体を含んだ異種混合粉体から強磁性体を分離するための強磁性体の分離装置であって、異種混合粉体を分散させた気流あるいは水流が導かれ、強磁性体とそれ以外の粉体とを質量の違いにより分離する分離室と、
該分離室において、前記異種混合粉体中の強磁性体に対して該強磁性体を分離させたい領域の方向に磁力が作用するように配設された磁場発生装置と
を備えており、
磁場発生装置が、強磁性体が通過する空間に作用する磁束密度の大きさを調整可能な構成を備えていて、強磁性体が通過する空間に作用する磁束密度の大きさを一定期間ごとに大小を繰り返すように構成されており、分離室に導く異種混合粉体を分散させた気流あるいは水流の流速を小さくした後に、磁束密度の大きさを小さくすることを特徴とする強磁性体の分離装置。 - 前記分離室は、異種混合粉体を分散させた気流あるいは水流が導かれる重力沈降室であり、前記磁場発生装置は、前記該重力沈降室の入口部近傍において、前記強磁性体が磁力を受けるように配設された磁場発生装置であり、前記強磁性体に重力と磁力が作用するようにしていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の強磁性体の分離装置。
- 気流あるいは水流の流速を大きくする前に、磁束密度の大きさを大きくすることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の強磁性体の分離装置。
