Claims (11)
- 繊維強化プラスチックをオービタルドリル加工するためのエンドミルであり、シャンク径を有するシャンクと、ネック径を有するネックと、切削径、コーナ半径(30)、さら形角度(28)および背面半径(34)を有する切削ヘッドとを有するエンドミルであって、
前記ネック径が前記切削径の65パーセントから90パーセントまでであり、前記さら形角度が2度から6度までの間にあり、前記コーナ半径が前記切削径の3パーセントから8パーセントまでの間にあり、
0度および15度の間の末端刃の半径方向すくい角と、8度および16度の間の周囲刃の半径方向すくい角とをさらに有する、エンドミル。 - 5度および18度の間のねじれ角の複数のフルートをさらに有する、請求項1に記載のエンドミル。
- 3度および10度の間の溝部軸方向すくい角をさらに有する、請求項1に記載のエンドミル。
- 10度および18度の間の一次逃げ角をさらに有する、請求項1に記載のエンドミル。
- 3重量%から10重量%までの間の範囲のコバルトによって超硬化された炭化タングステンからなる基材から作製される、請求項1に記載のエンドミル。
- 8μmおよび20μmの間の厚さのダイヤモンド被膜をさらに含む、請求項5に記載のエンドミル。

10度および18度の間の一次逃げ角とを有するエンドミル。 - 3重量%から10重量%までの間の範囲のコバルトによって超硬化された炭化タングステンからなる基材から作製される、請求項8に記載のエンドミル。
- 8μmおよび20μmの間の厚さのダイヤモンド被膜をさらに含む、請求項9に記載のエンドミル。
- 焼結体ダイヤモンド(PCD)材料から作製される、請求項8に記載のエンドミル。
