Abstract
【解決手段】10mm〜100mmの断片に破砕された藁をメタン発酵することを特徴とし、好ましくは、前記メタン発酵を、50℃以上の温度で行うことを特徴とし、さらに好ましくは、前記藁は、回転式破砕機により破砕されたものであることを特徴とするメタン発酵方法、前記メタン発酵方法により前記藁をメタン発酵してなる藁材、及び前記藁材からなることを特徴とする敷料によって解決される。

Description
<藁断片1;100mmの断片>
麦藁を、ハサミで100mmの長さに裁断したものを藁断片1(図3)とした。
麦藁を、ハサミで50mmの長さに裁断したものを藁断片2(図3)とした。
麦藁を、ハサミで裁断した後、家庭用ミキサーにかけて更に破砕し、径1mmの篩にかけ、篩上の断片を藁断片3(図3)とした。
上記藁断片3の製造において、篩下の断片を藁断片4(図3)とした。
<試験1>
10gの藁断片1(100mmの断片)を、消化液(牛糞由来)1.2Lと混合し、55℃、pH制御なし、手動攪拌の条件で、メタン発酵を行った。メタン発酵により生成するバイオガス量の経時変化を図4に示す。
試験1において、藁断片1を藁断片2(50mmの断片)に代えたこと以外は、試験1と同様にしてメタン発酵を行った。メタン発酵により生成するバイオガス量の経時変化を図4に示す。
試験1において、藁断片1を藁断片3(1mm超〜20mmの断片)に代えたこと以外は、試験1と同様にしてメタン発酵を行った。メタン発酵により生成するバイオガス量の経時変化を図4に示す。
試験1において、藁断片1を藁断片4(1mm以下の断片)に代えたこと以外は、試験1と同様にしてメタン発酵を行った。メタン発酵により生成するバイオガス量の経時変化を図4に示す。
試験1において、藁断片1を用いず、消化液のみとしたこと以外は、試験1と同様にしてメタン発酵を行った。メタン発酵により生成するバイオガス量の経時変化を図4に示す。
図4に示される通り、10mm〜50mmのサイズの藁の断片を発酵処理した場合では、発酵処理の開始直後はバイオガス発生の立ち上がりが多少出遅れる場合があるものの、発酵を継続してみると、十分な量のバイオガスを回収できることがわかった。100mmのサイズの藁の断片を発酵処理した場合も、15日経過時で、試験4(1mm以下)のバイオガス発生量にかなり近づいていることがわかった。

Claims (5)
- 10mm〜100mmの断片に破砕された藁を、発酵液中でメタン発酵し、バイオガスを回収すると共に、発酵後の前記藁を消化液中から回収して敷料として利用することを特徴とするメタン発酵方法。
- 前記メタン発酵を、50℃以上の温度で行うことを特徴とする請求項1記載のメタン発酵方法。
- 前記藁は、回転要素としてチェーンを備えた回転式破砕機により破砕されたものであることを特徴とする請求項1又は2記載のメタン発酵方法。
- 藁と有機性廃棄物とを含む原料を固液分離し、該固液分離後の固相に回収した藁を10mm〜100mmの断片に破砕した後、該固液分離後の液相と混合して、前記メタン発酵を行うことを特徴とする請求項1〜3の何れかに記載のメタン発酵方法。
- 請求項1〜4の何れかに記載のメタン発酵方法により前記消化液中から回収されたことを特徴とする敷料。
