Claims (4)
- 液体の燃料を蒸発させて気体の燃料を供給する燃料供給装置であって、
液体の燃料を加熱して気化させる加熱器を含む蒸発器と、
蒸発器に液体の燃料を供給する液体燃料供給手段と、
加熱器の温度を調整する温度調整手段とを備え、
加熱器は、液体の燃料に熱を供給する伝熱面を有し、
加熱器の伝熱面は、燃料が核沸騰状態から遷移沸騰状態に移行するときの熱流束が極大になる温度を有し、
加熱器の伝熱面の温度を検出し、加熱器の伝熱面の温度と蒸発器における燃料の沸点との差に基づいて温度調整手段が加熱器の温度を変化させ、伝熱面における熱流束を調整し、温度調整手段は、伝熱面の温度が前記極大になる温度に近づくように、加熱器の温度を調整することを特徴とする、燃料供給装置。 - 加熱器の伝熱面の温度と燃料の沸点との差の目標範囲が予め定められており、
温度調整手段は、伝熱面の温度と燃料の沸点との差が予め定められた目標範囲内になるように、加熱器の温度を調整することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の燃料供給装置。 - 液体燃料供給手段は、液体の燃料を貯留する燃料タンクを備え、
燃料タンクの気体の圧力および燃料の温度を検出し、
燃料タンクの気体の圧力および燃料の温度に基づいて、燃料の組成を推定することを特徴とする、請求項1または2に記載の燃料供給装置。 - 蒸発器における気体の圧力を検出し、検出した気体の圧力に基づいて、蒸発器における燃料の沸点を推定することを特徴とする、請求項1から3のいずれか一項に記載の燃料供給装置。
