Description
タイターが2.8dtexのリヨセル繊維を周知の方法で繊維トウの形態に紡糸し、洗浄し、後処理し、標準的なテキスタイル仕上げ剤で処理し、乾燥させた。乾燥状態でのみ、ギロチン式裁断機でこれらの繊維をステープル長5mmに切断した。このようにして、いわゆるステープルを得た。これらはここまでは裁断機により切断面でプレスされた繊維束であり、個々の繊維にはある程度の結合力がある。これらのステープルは、本発明に従って製造されるペレットより完全には計量しにくいが、それでも使用中の試験デバイスを用いて基本的に計量可能であった。そのため、これらのステープルを、中間プレスを行わないこと以外は同じ試験条件で、溶融押出機に計量供給し、引張り試験用の試験体を製造した。表1および図1〜3に測定結果を示す(「繊維」)。
実施例1と同様、タイターが2.8dtexであるリヨセル繊維を紡糸し、長さ5mmのステープルを製造した。
Claims (11)
- 成形デバイス中で成形チャンネルを介してステープルファイバーをプレスしてなる、セルロース系ステープルファイバーのペレットであって、前記ステープルファイバーがリヨセル繊維、ビスコース繊維、モダール繊維、またはこれらの繊維種のうち少なくとも2種の混合物であること、前記ステープルファイバーのタイターが0.1〜15.0dtexであり且つ切断長が0.5〜15.0mmであること、及び、前記ペレットの直径が2.0〜10.0mmであることを特徴とする、前記ペレット。
- 前記ステープルファイバーが平滑仕上げ剤を含有する、請求項1に記載のペレット。
- 0.01〜5.0重量パーセントのホットメルト接着剤を含有する、請求項1又は請求項2に記載のペレット。
- セルロース系ステープルファイバーのペレットを製造するプロセスであって、タイターが0.1〜15.0dtexであり且つ切断長が0.5〜15.0mmである前記セルロース系ステープルファイバーが、成形デバイス中の成形チャンネルを介してプレスされること、及び、前記ステープルファイバーがリヨセル繊維、ビスコース繊維、モダール繊維、またはこれらの繊維種のうち少なくとも2種の混合物であること、を特徴とする、前記プロセス。
- 前記成形チャンネルのL/D比が1:1〜4:1である、請求項4に記載のプロセス。
- 前記成形デバイスがフラットマトリックスプレスまたはリングマトリックスプレスである、請求項4又は請求項5に記載のプロセス。
- 前記ステープルファイバーが、プレス前に水分30〜80重量パーセントに湿らされる、請求項4〜6のいずれか1項に記載のプロセス。
- 前記ステープルファイバーが、プレス前に0.01〜5.0重量パーセントの粉末形態のホットメルト接着剤と混合される、請求項4〜7のいずれか1項に記載のプロセス。
- ポリマー溶融物に混合して複合材料を製造するための、請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載のペレット又は請求項4〜8のいずれか1項に記載のプロセスにより製造されたペレットの使用。
- 前記混合が押出機中で行われる、請求項9に記載の使用。
- 前記混合がニーダー中で行われる、請求項9に記載の使用。
