Description
図1は、本発明を適用した第1実施形態に係る電池管理システムを示すブロック図である。電池管理システム1は、車両(EVHC)10と地上施設20とを備える。車両10は、電池によって作動する電池動作機器である。車両10は、走行用動力の少なくとも一部を電動機によって発生する。車両10は、例えば、電動機のみによって走行する電気自動車、または電動機と内燃機関とを併用して走行するハイブリッド自動車である。
第2実施形態は、第1実施形態の図5に代えて、図6のフローチャートに示された充電制御を採用する。第2実施形態も、図1から図4に図示された構成および手段を備えている。
第3実施形態は、第1実施形態の図4に代えて、図7のフローチャートに示された認証処理を採用する。さらに、第1実施形態の図5に代えて、図8のフローチャートに示された充電制御を採用する。この実施形態も、図1から図3に図示された構成および手段を備えている。

- 電池から供給される電力によって車両を走行させる走行装置が搭載された車両のための電池管理装置において、
前記電池が正規か否かを判定する電池判定手段と、
前記電池判定手段において肯定的に判定されたとき、前記電池を充電する通常充電手段と、
前記電池判定手段において否定的に判定されたとき、前記通常充電手段による充電より制限された充電条件の下で前記電池を充電する制限充電手段と
を備え、
前記電池判定手段は、
前記電池が非純正電池である場合に否定的に判定する手段と、
前記電池が機能的に無効な電池である場合に否定的に判定する手段と、
前記電池が不正入手電池である場合に否定的に判定する手段とを備え、
前記制限充電手段は、前記通常充電手段による充電量より少なく制限され、前記車両を所定距離だけ走行させることができるように設定された制限充電量まで電池を充電することを特徴とする電池管理装置。 - 前記非純正電池は、保証が十分でない電池、および信頼できる組織による認定がない電池を含み、
前記機能的に無効な電池は、保証期間または使用回数制限を越えて使用される電池、および一部に故障を含む電池を含み、
前記不正入手電池は、正規の流通経路を経由することなく不正に入手された電池であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の電池管理装置。 - 前記制限充電量は前記電池に記録されている値に基づいて設定されることを特徴とする請求項1または請求項2に記載の電池管理装置。
- 前記制限充電量は前記電池の充電率に基づいて設定されることを特徴とする請求項1または請求項2に記載の電池管理装置。
- 前記制限充電手段は、前記電池判定手段において否定的に判定された電池の状態に応じて、前記制限された充電条件を設定することを特徴とする請求項1から請求項4のいずれかに記載の電池管理装置。
- 前記制限された充電条件は、前記電池の充電量および/または充電回数であることを特徴とする請求項5に記載の電池管理装置。
- 前記制限充電手段は、前記通常充電手段による充電速度より遅く制限された制限充電速度で前記電池を充電することを特徴とする請求項1から請求項6のいずれかに記載の電池管理装置。
- 前記制限充電手段は、前記電池判定手段において否定的に判定された後、所定回数だけ充電を許可することを特徴とする請求項1から請求項7のいずれかに記載の電池管理装置。
- さらに、前記制限充電手段により充電されることを表示する表示手段を備えることを特徴とする請求項1から請求項8のいずれかに記載の電池管理装置。
