図2は、本発明による図1の複数種繊維膜フィルタ素子20を構成する中空繊維を示した図である。中空繊維は有孔不透性管の周りに配置されている。あるいは繊維は、束状に配置されてから管周りに巻きつけられてもよい。
図3は、図2に示す束のうちの1つの束に含まれる複数の中空繊維を示した図である。各繊維の寸法を示すために、繊維をばらしてある。
図4は、図3に示す中空繊維のうちの1本の拡大時に見えうる端面を示した図である。複数種繊維膜フィルタ素子は、この中空繊維を数十万本含む。
図5は、外から内へのガス流を受けている図1に示す複数種繊維膜フィルタ素子20の端面を示した図である。繊維種は全体として2つの周方向領域に配置されている。第1の周方向領域に位置する束は、ある種類の中空繊維を含み、第2の領域に位置する束は、別の種類の中空繊維を含む。中空繊維の種類が異なるので、第1の領域は第2の領域と異なる性能を示す。あるいはガス流は、まず第2の領域を流れ、次いで第1の領域を流れる「内から外へ」の流れであってもよい。
図6は、直列に配置した単一種繊維フィルタ素子を利用した、あるいは段階1で第1の繊維種を用い、段階2で第2の繊維種を用いる2つの異なる単一種繊維膜を利用した、先行技術のプロセスを例示する概略図である。
図7は、本発明によるフィルタ素子を利用したプロセスを例示する概略図である。複数種繊維フィルタ素子により単段階処理が可能になる。
1.低CO2条件でより大きな比表面積を与えるように、素子20の供給ガス側41に最も近い高CO2領域に配置するより大きな孔の中空繊維21と、素子20の不透性側43に最も近い低CO2領域に配置するより小さな穴の繊維21とを組み合わせる。
2.供給ガス側41に最も近い領域に配置するより大きいCO2分圧抵抗の中空繊維21と、不透性側43に最も近い領域に配置するより高い流速の中空繊維21とを組み合わせる。
3.脱水用の中空繊維21とCO2/炭化水素分離用の繊維21とを組み合わせる、CO2除去用の繊維21とH2S除去用又は炭化水素露化用の繊維21とを組み合わせるなど、異なる分離性を示す中空繊維21を組み合わせる。
Claims (8)
- 膜素子と中心縦軸を共有する有孔不透性管と、
前記有孔不透性管周りに配置された複数の中空繊維と、を備え、
前記複数の中空繊維は第1の中空繊維種及び第2の中空繊維種を含み、
前記第1の中空繊維種及び前記第2の中空繊維種は、他方とは異なる性能特性を少なくとも1つ有し、
前記複数の中空繊維は、ガスの供給側に配置し、より大きいCO 2 分圧抵抗の中空繊維と、前記中心縦軸側である不透性側に配置し、より高い流速の中空繊維と、を組み合わせてある天然ガス流処理用の膜素子。 - 前記少なくとも1つの異なる性能特性は、前記第1の中空繊維種及び前記第2の中空繊維種の孔の寸法、壁厚、製造プロセス、材料のうち少なくとも1つの機能である請求項1に記載の膜素子。
- 前記少なくとも1つの異なる性能特性は、前記第1の中空繊維種及び前記第2の中空繊維種の透過性と選択性とのうち少なくとも一方である請求項1に記載の膜素子。
- 前記少なくとも1つの異なる性能特性は、CO2除去性能とH2S除去性能とのうち少なくとも一方である請求項1に記載の膜素子。
- 前記少なくとも1つの性能特性は、前記第1の中空繊維種及び前記第2の中空繊維種の炭化水素除去性能である請求項1に記載の膜素子。
- 前記少なくとも1つの性能特性は、水露化と炭化水素露化とのうち少なくとも一方である請求項1に記載の膜素子。
- 前記膜素子の入口ガス流供給側に位置する第1の領域と、
前記第1の領域と前記膜素子の不透性出口側との間に位置する第2の領域と、
を更に備え、
前記領域はそれぞれ、前記第1の中空繊維種及び前記第2の中空繊維種からなる群より選ばれる中空繊維種を少なくとも1つ含む請求項1に記載の膜素子。 - 複数の繊維束状に配置された前記複数の中空繊維を更に含む請求項1に記載の膜素子。
