Description
1.熱膨張性を有する積層体であって、
(1)前記積層体は、少なくとも熱膨張層A及び熱膨張層Bが積層されており、
(2)熱膨張層Aは、結合材、難燃剤、発泡剤及び炭化剤を含有し、更に無機質軽量粉体Aを含有する場合には熱膨張層A中の無機質軽量粉体Aの含有量が5容量%未満であり、
(3)熱膨張層Bは、結合材、難燃剤、発泡剤、炭化剤及び無機質軽量粉体Bを含有し、熱膨張層B中の無機質軽量粉体Bの含有量が5〜70容量%であり、
(4)無機質軽量粉体A及び無機質軽量粉体Bは、かさ密度が0.1〜2.0g/cm3であることを特徴とする積層体。
2.前記積層体は、耐熱性を付与すべき構造物の基材に、熱膨張層B及び熱膨張層Aが当該順に積層されるように施工される、上記項1に記載の積層体。
3.熱膨張層Aの厚みが0.3〜5mmである、上記項1又は2に記載の積層体。
4.熱膨張層Bの厚みが0.3〜5mmである、上記項1〜3のいずれかに記載の積層体。
5.無機質軽量粉体A及び無機質軽量粉体Bは、比表面積が0.1m2/g以上である、上記項1〜4のいずれかに記載の積層体。
(1)前記積層体は、少なくとも熱膨張層A及び熱膨張層Bが積層されており、
(2)熱膨張層Aは、結合材、難燃剤、発泡剤及び炭化剤を含有し、更に無機質軽量粉体Aを含有する場合には熱膨張層A中の無機質軽量粉体Aの含有量が5容量%未満であり、
(3)熱膨張層Bは、結合材、難燃剤、発泡剤、炭化剤及び無機質軽量粉体Bを含有し、熱膨張層B中の無機質軽量粉体Bの含有量が5〜70容量%であり、
(4)無機質軽量粉体A及び無機質軽量粉体Bは、かさ密度が0.1〜2.0g/cm3であることを特徴とする。
熱膨張層Aは、任意成分である上記無機質軽量粉体Aの他に、必須成分として、結合材、難燃剤、発泡剤及び炭化剤を含有する。
熱膨張層Bは、無機質軽量粉体B、結合材、難燃剤、発泡剤及び炭化剤を含有する。
(1)熱膨張層1〜12の作製
表1に示す通り、結合材100重量部、難燃剤280重量部、発泡剤44重量部、炭化剤120重量部、充填剤88重量部及び可塑剤90重量部を均一に混合した。次いで、所定量の無機質軽量粉体を混合し、120℃に加温し、ニーダーによって混練した後、対ロールの間に供給してシート状に成形後、室温にて放冷し、シート状の熱膨張層を得た。
・結合材A:アクリル−スチレン共重合樹脂(MFR(190℃):80g/10min)
・結合材B:酢酸ビニル−エチレン共重合樹脂(MFR(190℃):65g/10min、酢酸ビニル含有率:41重量%、引張破壊歪み:1720%)
・結合材C:酢酸ビニル/エチレン共重合樹脂(MFR(190℃):6g/10min、酢酸ビニル含有率:30重量%、引張破壊歪み:>600%)
なお、本明細書におけるMFRは、JIS K7210:1999「熱可塑性プラスチックのメルトマスフローレイト(MFR)及びメルトボリュームフローレイト(MVR)の試験方法」に基づき、試験温度190℃、荷重2.16kgで測定される値である。
・難燃剤:ポリリン酸アンモニウム
・発泡剤:メラミン
・炭化剤:ジペンタエリスリトール
・可塑剤:塩素化パラフィン
・充填剤:酸化チタン(ルチル型、平均粒子径0.3μm、かさ密度2.7g/cm3)
・無機質軽量粉体i:ワラストナイト(かさ密度0.4g/cm3、比表面積0.4m2/g)
・無機質軽量粉体ii:ゼオライト(かさ密度0.3g/cm3、比表面積350m2/g)
(2)試験体の作製及びその特性評価
表2に示す組み合わせで各熱膨張層をアクリル系接着剤で鋼板(150mm×150mm×6mm)に接着して、実験例1〜12及び比較実験例1〜4の試験体を得た。
(耐熱保護性試験)
得られた試験体について、ISO834の標準加熱曲線に準じて1時間加熱試験を行い、10分後及び1時間後の鋼板温度を評価した。なお、鋼板温度は、熱膨張層を積層していない鋼板裏面の中央の温度のことである。
<10分後の鋼板温度評価>
A:180℃未満
B:180℃以上190℃未満
C:190℃以上200℃未満
D:200℃以上210℃未満
E:210℃以上220℃未満
F:220℃以上
<1時間後の鋼板温度評価>
A:480℃未満
B:480℃以上495℃未満
C:495℃以上510℃未満
D:510℃以上525℃未満
E:525℃以上540℃未満
F:540℃以上
(脱落性試験)
得られた試験体をアクリル系接着剤により鋼板(70mm×150mm×1.6mm)に貼り付け、試験体表面が下向きになるように設置し、250℃で10分間静置し、試験体の脱落及びズレの有無を目視観察により評価した。評価方法は下記の通りであり、評価結果を表2に示す。
○:ほとんど脱落なし
△:表層が一部脱落
×:全て脱落
Claims (5)
- 熱膨張性を有する積層体であって、
(1)前記積層体は、少なくとも熱膨張層A及び熱膨張層Bが積層されており、
(2)熱膨張層Aは、結合材、難燃剤、発泡剤及び炭化剤を含有し、更に無機質軽量粉体Aを含有する場合には熱膨張層A中の無機質軽量粉体Aの含有量が5容量%未満であり、
(3)熱膨張層Bは、結合材、難燃剤、発泡剤、炭化剤及び無機質軽量粉体Bを含有し、熱膨張層B中の無機質軽量粉体Bの含有量が5〜70容量%であり、
(4)無機質軽量粉体A及び無機質軽量粉体Bは、かさ密度が0.1〜2.0g/cm3であることを特徴とする積層体。 - 前記積層体は、耐熱性を付与すべき構造物の基材に、熱膨張層B及び熱膨張層Aが当該順に積層されるように施工される、請求項1に記載の積層体。
- 熱膨張層Aの厚みが0.3〜5mmである、請求項1又は2に記載の積層体。
- 熱膨張層Bの厚みが0.3〜5mmである、請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載の積層体。
- 無機質軽量粉体A及び無機質軽量粉体Bは、比表面積が0.1m2/g以上である、請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載の積層体。
