Claims (17)
- 外部排気ガス再循環(EGR)の方法であって、
火花点火式ターボ過給エンジンにおけるエンジンノックを監視するステップと、
エンジンへの未冷却高圧EGRおよび冷却低圧EGRの流量を制御するステップであり、冷却低圧EGRに対する未冷却高圧EGRの次のような調整、すなわち、エンジンノックが発生していないことに応答して、未冷却高圧EGRを冷却低圧EGRに対して増大させ、エンジンノックが発生していることに応答して、未冷却高圧EGRを、エンジンノックが停止するまで、冷却低圧EGRに対して低減するような調整を含む制御ステップと、
を含む方法。 - エンジンの速度を検出するステップと、
エンジンの負荷を決定するステップと、
をさらに含み、
前記流量の制御を、エンジンの速度および負荷に基づく排気ガス再循環モデルで、未冷却高圧EGRおよび冷却低圧EGRの混合領域を含む排気ガス再循環モデルに従って実施し、さらにまた、前記調整を、エンジンが前記EGRの混合領域に対応する速度および負荷において作動している時に実施する、
請求項1に記載の方法。 - 前記調整を、EGR流量制御装置を調節することによって実施する、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記EGR流量制御装置が、未冷却HP EGR径路におけるHP EGR弁である、請求項3に記載の方法。
- 前記調整が、遷移運転の間における少なくともいくばくかの時間、相対的に高いエンジンの速度および負荷において未冷却HP EGRの流れを可能にすることを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記調整が、HP EGR径路が熱飽和の状態になるにつれて、HP EGR流量を徐々に低下させることを含む、請求項5に記載の方法。
- 少なくとも1つのエンジンノックセンサーによってエンジンノックを検出することをさらに含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記調整を、未冷却HP EGR径路におけるHP EGR弁を調節することによって実施し、かつ、前記調整が、遷移運転の間における少なくともいくばくかの時間、相対的に高いエンジンの速度および負荷において未冷却HP EGRの流れを可能にすることを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 火花点火式ターボ過給エンジンにおける外部排気ガス再循環(EGR)の方法であって、
エンジンの速度を検出するステップと、
エンジンの負荷を決定するステップと、
エンジンにおけるエンジンノックを監視するステップと、
エンジンへの未冷却高圧EGRおよび冷却低圧EGRの流量を、エンジンの速度および負荷に基づく排気ガス再循環モデルで、未冷却高圧EGRおよび冷却低圧EGRの混合領域を含む排気ガス再循環モデルに従って制御するステップであって、エンジンが前記EGR混合領域に対応する速度および負荷で作動している時には、冷却低圧EGRに対する未冷却高圧EGRの次のような調整、すなわち、エンジンノックが発生していないことに応答して、未冷却高圧EGRを冷却低圧EGRに対して増大させ、エンジンノックが発生していることに応答して、未冷却高圧EGRを、エンジンノックが停止するまで、冷却低圧EGRに対して低減するような調整を含む制御ステップと、
を含む方法。 - 前記調整を、EGR流量制御装置を調節することによって実施する、請求項9に記載の方法。
- 前記EGR流量制御装置が、未冷却HP EGR径路におけるHP EGR弁である、請求項10に記載の方法。
- 前記調整が、遷移運転の間における少なくともいくばくかの時間、相対的に高いエンジンの速度および負荷において未冷却HP EGRの流れを可能にすることを含む、請求項9に記載の方法。
- 前記調整が、HP EGR径路が熱飽和の状態になるにつれて、HP EGR流量を徐々に低下させることを含む、請求項9に記載の方法。
- 少なくとも1つのエンジンノックセンサーによってエンジンノックを検出することをさらに含む、請求項9に記載の方法。
- ターボ過給される火花点火式エンジンに関する製品であって、
タービンを含むターボ過給機と、
ターボ過給機タービンの上流側の未冷却高圧EGR径路と、
ターボ過給機タービンの下流側の冷却低圧EGR径路と、
前記EGR径路の少なくともいずれかと連絡する少なくとも1つのEGR流量制御装置と、
前記少なくとも1つのEGR流量制御装置と連絡する制御器であり、エンジンへの未冷却高圧EGRおよびエンジンへの冷却低圧EGRの流量を制御するための制御器であって、冷却低圧EGRに対する未冷却高圧EGRを次のように調整するために、すなわち、エンジンノックが発生していないことに応答して、未冷却高圧EGRを冷却低圧EGRに対して増大させ、エンジンノックが発生していることに応答して、未冷却高圧EGRを、エンジンノックが停止するまで、冷却低圧EGRに対して低減するように調整するために、前記少なくとも1つのEGR流量制御装置を制御する制御器と、
を含む製品。 - 前記冷却LP EGRの径路には冷却器をさらに含み、前記HP EGRの径路には冷却器を含まない、請求項15に記載の製品。
- 前記少なくとも1つのEGR流量制御装置が、前記HP EGR径路におけるHP EGR弁と、前記LP EGR径路におけるLP EGR弁とを含む、請求項15に記載の製品。
