Description
水銀ポロシメーターで測定して第1表に記載の種々の細孔分布のピーク値を有し、4質量%のLa2O3を含み、比表面積が150m2/gである何れかのLa安定化θアルミナ多孔体180g、アルミナ濃度20質量%のアルミナゾル100g及び純水320gを混合したものに所定量のジニトロジアンミン白金水溶液及び硝酸パラジウム水溶液を加え、30分間撹拌して触媒コーティング用スラリーを調製した。このスラリーを直径143.8mm、長さ76.2mmのコージェライト製ハニカム基材(300セル/平方インチ、壁厚8mm)にコーティングし、余分なスラリーをエアーブローで除去した。次いで120℃で3時間乾燥し、更に空気中、500℃で1時間焼成した。得られたDOC構成体はコージェライト製ハニカム基材1リットル当たり100gの触媒がコートされていた。このうちPtの担持量は1.6g/Lであり、Pdの担持量は0.4g/Lであった。
Claims (5)
- 水銀ポロシメーターで測定した細孔分布のピーク値が10〜100nmの範囲内にあるアルミナ多孔体と、該アルミナ多孔体の表面上及び/又は細孔内壁面上に担持されている貴金属とを備えていることを特徴とする軽油成分の燃焼に適した酸化触媒。
- 水銀ポロシメーターで測定した細孔分布のピーク値が30〜55nmの範囲内にあるアルミナ多孔体を用いている請求項1に記載の軽油成分の燃焼に適した酸化触媒。
- アルミナ多孔体がLa安定化アルミナ多孔体である請求項1又は2に記載の軽油成分の燃焼に適した酸化触媒。
- 貴金属がPt、Pd及びRhから選ばれる少なくとも1種である請求項1、2又は3に記載の軽油成分の燃焼に適した酸化触媒。
- セラミックス又は金属材料からなる触媒支持体と、該触媒支持体に担持されている請求項1、2、3又は4に記載の軽油成分の燃焼に適した酸化触媒とを備えていることを特徴とする軽油成分の燃焼に適した酸化触媒構成体。
