Description
Claims (14)
- 静脈内カテーテルを通る血流量を制御する装置であって、
外側面と、内側面と、第1の横方向端縁と、第2の横方向側縁とを有し、実質的に弾性を持つ螺旋状の外側シェルであって、この外側シェルが非圧縮状態にある場合、前記第1の横方向端縁は前記第2の横方向端縁から撓んで配される外側シェルと、
第1の係合部および第2の係合部を具え、前記外側シェルの前記内側面に結合される内側弁部と
を具え、前記第1および第2の係合部は、前記外側シェルが非圧縮状態にある場合に整列すると共に前記外側シェルが圧縮状態にある場合に位置ずれして当該内側弁部を通る流路を作り出すことを特徴とする装置。 - 前記実質的に弾性を持つ螺旋状の外側シェルがエラストマー材料を具えていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記エラストマー材料がシリコーンゴムを具えていることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の装置。
- 前記係合部はこれらの間に針を収容するように形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記実質的に弾性を持つ螺旋状の外側シェルは、カテーテルアダプター内に保持されるように形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記実質的に弾性を持つ螺旋状の外側シェルが前記カテーテルアダプター内に配され、前記カテーテルアダプター内に挿入されたルアー器具が前記実質的に弾性を持つ螺旋状の外側シェルを圧縮するようになっていることを特徴とする請求項5に記載の装置。
- 前記実質的に弾性を持つ螺旋状の外側シェルの少なくとも一部は、前記ルアー器具の挿入によって前記カテーテルアダプターの一端に結合されるカテーテルに向けて平行移動することを特徴とする請求項6に記載の装置。
- 静脈内カテーテルを通る血流量を制御する静脈内カテーテルアセンブリーであって、
血管を穿刺して静脈アクセスをもたらすための穿刺手段と、
前記血管と流体を患者に投与するための流体投与手段との間で流体連通をもたらすための静脈内カテーテル手段と、
この静脈内カテーテル手段を通る流体流量を制御するための弁手段と
を具え、この弁手段は、
外側面と、内側面と、第1の横方向端縁と、第2の横方向側縁とを有し、実質的に弾性を持つ螺旋状の外側シェルであって、この外側シェルが非圧縮状態にある場合、前記第1の横方向端縁は前記第2の横方向端縁から撓んで配される外側シェルと、
第1の係合部および第2の係合部を具え、前記外側シェルの前記内側面に結合される内側弁部と
を具え、前記第1および第2の係合部は、前記外側シェルが非圧縮状態にある場合に整列すると共に前記外側シェルが圧縮状態にある場合に位置ずれして当該内側弁部を通る流路を作り出すことを特徴とする静脈内カテーテルアセンブリー。 - 前記実質的に弾性を持つ螺旋状の外側シェルが前記静脈内カテーテル手段内に配され、前記静脈内カテーテル手段に挿入されたルアー器具が前記実質的に弾性を持つ螺旋状の外側シェルを圧縮して前記内側弁部を開くようになっていることを特徴とする請求項8に記載の静脈内カテーテルアセンブリー。
- 静脈内カテーテルを通る血流を制御するための隔壁であって、
内側面および外側面を有し、実質的に螺旋状に巻かれて非圧縮状態と圧縮状態とに動かすことができる外側シェルと、
この外側シェルの前記内側面に結合され、当該外側シェルが非圧縮状態にある場合に整列すると共に前記外側シェルが圧縮状態にある場合に位置ずれする第1の係合部および第2の係合部を有する内側弁と
を具えたことを特徴とする隔壁。 - 前記第1および第2の係合部が前記外側シェルから一体的に形成されていることを特徴とする請求項10に記載の隔壁。
- 前記第1および第2の係合部が前記外側シェルから独立に成形され、次いで前記外側シェルに結合されていることを特徴とする請求項10に記載の隔壁。
- 前記第1および第2の係合部が整列した場合、血液がこれら第1および第2の係合部の間の接合部を通って漏れることを特徴とする請求項10に記載の隔壁。
- 前記内側弁を通る血液の流量は、前記外側シェルの圧縮力が増大するにつれて増大することを特徴とする請求項13に記載の隔壁。
