前記主体金具が、
自身の先端側外周に形成された雄ねじ部と、
前記雄ねじ部よりも前記軸線方向後端側に形成され径方向外側に突出する座部と、
自身の外表面に設けられたニッケル層とを有する点火プラグであって、
前記ニッケル層は、リンを含有するとともに、自身の厚さ方向においてニッケル(Ni)の濃度が50at%となる部位でのリン(P)の濃度が6at%以上20at%以下とされることを特徴とする。
三価クロメート層32は、含有されるクロム成分のうち95質量%以上が三価クロムにより構成されたものである。また、防錆油層33は、炭素(C)、バリウム(Ba)、カルシウム(Ca)、ナトリウム(Na)、及び、硫黄(S)のうち少なくとも一種を含有してなる防錆油が塗布されることで設けられている。尚、三価クロメート層32及び防錆油層33のうち一方のみを設けることとしてもよいし、三価クロメート層32及び防錆油層33の双方を設けないこととしてもよい。

Claims (6)
- 軸線方向に沿って延びる筒状の主体金具を備え、
前記主体金具が、
自身の先端側外周に形成された雄ねじ部と、
前記雄ねじ部よりも前記軸線方向後端側に形成され径方向外側に突出する座部と、
自身の外表面に設けられたニッケル層とを有する点火プラグであって、
前記ニッケル層は、リンを含有するとともに、自身の厚さ方向においてニッケルの濃度が50at%となる部位でのリンの濃度が6at%以上20at%以下とされることを特徴とする点火プラグ。 - 前記ニッケル層は、自身の厚さ方向においてニッケルの濃度が50at%となる部位でのリンの濃度が8at%以上15at%以下とされることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の点火プラグ。
- 前記主体金具は、前記ニッケル層上に設けられ、含有されるクロム成分のうち95質量%以上が三価クロムである三価クロメート層を有することを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の点火プラグ。
- 前記主体金具は、炭素、バリウム、カルシウム、ナトリウム、及び、硫黄のうちの少なくとも一種を含有する防錆油層を有することを特徴とする請求項1乃至3のいずれか1項に記載の点火プラグ。
- 前記主体金具の先端から前記座部までの前記軸線に沿った距離をLとしたとき、前記主体金具の先端から前記軸線に沿ってL/3後端側までの間に位置する前記主体金具の外周表面領域の80%以上に、炭化水素系の有機成分を媒体とするとともに、炭素と、ニッケル、アルミニウム、亜鉛、及び、銅のうちの少なくとも一種とを含有する焼付き防止剤が塗布されることを特徴とする請求項1乃至4のいずれか1項に記載の点火プラグ。
- 前記ニッケル層におけるピンホールの数が単位表面積当たり60点/cm2以下とされることを特徴とする請求項1乃至5のいずれか1項に記載の点火プラグ。
