Description
上記開口の幅は、反力による連結ピンの変位を許容する方向の開口の幅を意味する。
図1は、本発明の一実施例である車両の常用ブレーキ用の操作ペダル装置10を示す図で、(a) は正面図(車両搭載状態では車両の左側から見た図)、(b) は(a) におけるIB−IB断面の拡大図である。車両に一体的に固設されるペダルサポート12には、略水平な支持軸14の軸心まわりに回動可能に操作ペダル16が配設されている。操作ペダル16は、制動要求に応じて運転者により足踏み操作されるもので、下端部には踏部(パッド)18が設けられているとともに、中間部分には連結部20を介してブレーキブースタのオペレーティングロッド22が連結されている。なお、電気的にホイールブレーキを制御するバイワイヤ方式の操作ペダル装置の場合には、反力機構等によって所定の反力が作用させられる反力部材がオペレーティングロッド22の代りに連結される。
Claims (8)
- 車両に固設されるペダルサポートに支持軸心まわりに回動可能に配設され、運転者によって足踏み操作される操作ペダルと、
連結ピンまわりに相対回動可能に一対の部材を連結する少なくとも1箇所の連結部を介して前記操作ペダルに連結され、該操作ペダルの操作力に応じた出力が伝達されるとともに、該出力に相当する反力が作用させられる反力部材と、
前記反力によって変形させられる起歪部に配設され、該起歪部と共に変形させられることにより前記操作力を電気的に検出する歪検知素子と、
を有する車両用操作ペダル装置において、
何れかの前記連結部における前記一対の部材の何れか一方には、前記反力によって前記連結ピンが相対的に変位することを許容するように該連結ピンの近傍に開口が設けられており、該一方の部材のうち該連結ピンの変位に伴って弾性的に変形させられる部分が前記起歪部として用いられる
ことを特徴とする車両用操作ペダル装置。 - 前記起歪部は、前記操作ペダルの足踏み操作に伴う前記連結ピンの変位方向の変化に拘らず、該足踏み操作のストロークの全域で該変位方向を挟んで両側に位置する複数箇所に定められている
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の車両用操作ペダル装置。 - 前記開口には、前記操作ペダルに対して常用域よりも大きな踏力が加えられた場合に、該開口の幅が0となって前記連結ピンのそれ以上の変位を阻止する幅狭部が設けられている
ことを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の車両用操作ペダル装置。 - 前記歪検知素子に接続されて前記操作力に対応する電気信号を出力する検出回路が設けられた回路ボックスが、前記開口の内部に配設されている
ことを特徴とする請求項1〜3の何れか1項に記載の車両用操作ペダル装置。 - 前記連結部において、前記反力部材に一体的に固設された二股状のクレビスの内側に所定のペダル側部材が挿入された状態で、両者を相対回動可能に連結するクレビスピンが該クレビスおよび該ペダル側部材を貫通して配設されており、
前記クレビスピンが前記連結ピンで、前記反力部材および前記ペダル側部材が該連結ピンを介して相対回動可能に連結されている一対の部材で、該ペダル側部材に前記開口および前記起歪部が設けられている
ことを特徴とする請求項1〜4の何れか1項に記載の車両用操作ペダル装置。 - 前記ペダル側部材は前記操作ペダルである
ことを特徴とする請求項5に記載の車両用操作ペダル装置。 - 前記ペダルサポートに回動可能に配設されるとともに、連結リンクを介して前記操作ペダルに連結された中間レバーを備えており、
前記ペダル側部材は該中間レバーである
ことを特徴とする請求項5に記載の車両用操作ペダル装置。 - 前記クレビスピンは、前記ペダル側部材に直接接触して前記起歪部を変形させる
ことを特徴とする請求項5〜7の何れか1項に記載の車両用操作ペダル装置。
