Description
Claims (7)
- 互いに厚さ及び融点が相違する一対の板材にレーザを照射して切断するレーザ切断方法であって、
前記一対の板材のうち融点が低い方の板材のレーザ照射面の反対面が、融点が高い方の板材のレーザ照射面の反対面よりも突出するように、前記一対の板材を並べて配置する板材配置工程と、
レーザの焦点位置を、前記一対の板材のうち融点が高い方の板材のレーザ照射面の反対面に合わせる焦点調整工程と、
レーザを照射し、前記一対の板材に対するレーザの焦点位置を維持しながら前記一対の板材を一連の動作で切断する板材切断工程と、
を備えるレーザ切断方法。 - 前記一対の板材のうち融点が低い方の板材の板厚の最大値は、融点が高い方の板材の焦点裕度に応じて設定され、融点が高い方の板材の焦点裕度の幅が狭くなるほど、融点が低い方の板材の板厚の最大値は小さくなる請求項1に記載のレーザ切断方法。
- 前記一対の板材のうち融点が低い方の板材はアルミニウム板であり、融点が高い方の板材は銅板であり、
融点が低い方の板材の板厚の最大値は、融点が高い方の板材の板厚の3.3倍に設定される請求項2に記載のレーザ切断方法。 - 前記板材配置工程は、前記焦点調整工程の前に、前記一対の板材のそれぞれの前記レーザ照射面を、面一になるように並べて配置する請求項1から請求項3までのいずれか1つに記載のレーザ切断方法。
- レーザによる切断を補助するために、レーザの照射と共にアシストガスを前記一対の板材に吹き付けるガス吹付工程を更に備え、
前記一対の板材は、前記アシストガスを供給した状態で、連続的に切断される請求項1から請求項4までのいずれか1つに記載のレーザ切断方法。 - 前記一対の板材は、前記アシストガスの供給条件を一定に保ったまま連続的に切断される請求項5に記載のレーザ切断方法。
- 前記一対の板材のうち融点が低い方の板材は、積層型電池の正極電極タブであり、融点が高い方の板材は前記積層型電池の負極電極タブであり、
前記正極電極タブ及び前記負極電極タブは、前記積層型電池の電極を形成する集電箔よりも厚く形成される請求項1から請求項6までのいずれか1つに記載のレーザ切断方法。
