Description
吸収体製造装置1は、第1連続シート20を搬送する第1搬送手段である回転ドラム40と、第1連続シート20に超吸収性ポリマー粒子等の粉粒体13を供給する粉粒体供給手段50と、粉粒体13が供給された第1連続シート20に積層される第2連続シート30を搬送する第2搬送手段60と、第1連続シート20および第2連続シート30を互いに接合する接合手段70とを有する。第1および第2連続シート20,30の搬送方向を機械方向MD、機械方向MDに直交する方向を交差方向CDとしている。

Claims (6)
- 機械方向および前記機械方向に直交する交差方向と、第1連続シートを搬送する第1搬送手段と、前記第1連続シートに粉粒体を供給する粉粒体供給手段と、前記第1連続シートに積層される第2連続シートを搬送する第2搬送手段と、前記第1連続シートおよび第2連続シートを接合する接合手段とを含む吸収体製造装置において、
前記第1搬送手段は、前記第1連続シートが載置される表面と、その反対側の裏面と、前記表面に形成され前記機械方向に間欠的に複数並ぶ凹部と、少なくとも前記凹部の間に位置する表面形成部と、前記凹部に形成され前記表面から裏面へと貫通する少なくとも1以上の開孔部とを有し、
前記粉粒体供給手段は、前記第1連続シートの前記凹部に対応する位置に前記機械方向に間欠的に粉粒体を供給し、
前記第1搬送手段の前記裏面側には、前記表面から裏面側へと吸引する吸引手段が配置され、
前記接合手段は、前記表面形成部の少なくとも一部で前記第1連続シートと第2連続シートとを接合することを特徴とする前記吸収体製造装置。 - 前記開孔部は、少なくとも前記凹部の中央部分に位置する中央開孔部を有する請求項1記載の吸収体製造装置。
- 前記表面形成部には、前記接合手段側へ突出する接合用突起が形成される請求項1または2記載の吸収体製造装置。
- 前記凹部であって、前記開孔部の周囲には、前記第1連続シートを支持する支持壁が形成される請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載の吸収体製造装置。
- 前記凹部は、前記交差方向に、それぞれ複数形成される請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載の吸収体製造装置。
- 前記第1搬送手段は、回転ドラムによって形成され、前記回転ドラムの前記表面に前記凹部が形成されるとともに、前記回転ドラムの前記裏面側に前記吸引手段が配置される請求項1〜5のいずれかに記載の吸収体製造装置。
