Description
複数成分材料を混合及び計量配合する装置。

2000年3月2日出願の米国仮出願第60/186405号。
近年、塗料などの複数成分材料が一般的になって広く利用されるにつれて、それらの材料の使用者の一部においては、これらの材料の混合及び計量配合の一層好ましい解決策が切望されている。そのような材料を使用する従来の古典的な技術はホットポッティングとして一般に知られている。ホットポッティングにおいては、使用者は二つ(最近は三つ)の成分の所要量を単に容器に注入し、それらを混合し、ついでその材料を基材へ噴霧等によって塗布する。そのようにすることによって、汚れが生じることに加えて、不正確な混合が生じたり、混合された材料の全量が利用されずに材料が無駄になることも少なくない。
したがって、本発明の目的は、比較的安価に製造でき、末端の用途に好適であり、しかも、正確な計量ができ、正確な比率で二成分又は三成分材料を供給することのできる電子式配合装置を提供することにある。

Claims (3)
- 少なくとも第1及び第2の成分を所定の比率で有する複数成分の塗料を加圧下で配合するための流量計を含まない複数成分塗料配合装置であって、
第1及び第2の往復ポンプと、
第1及び第2の往復駆動手段と、
位置センサと、
混合マニホールドと、
前記往復駆動手段及び前記位置センサへ取り付けられた制御手段と、
を有し、それぞれのポンプがアウトレットを有するとともに前記成分の一つをそれぞれ貯留する容器に接続され、
それぞれの往復駆動手段が前記往復ポンプの一つを駆動するように接続されており、
位置センサはそれぞれの往復駆動手段へ取り付けられ、それが取り付けられた往復駆動手段の位置を検出し、
混合マニホールドは前記アウトレット及びスプレーガンに接続され、
制御手段は往復ポンプに連結された往復駆動手段の一方及び他方を位置センサによって検出された位置に基づいて電子的に制御し、往復ポンプの一方及び他方をそれぞれ予め定められたストロークで交互に動かし、前記成分をスプレーガンに向けて所定の比率で交互に圧送する複数成分塗料配合装置。
- 前記位置センサは磁気抵抗式である請求項1に記載の複数成分塗料配合装置。
- 前記往復駆動手段の少なくとも一つは、一度の移動量が一往復未満である請求項1に記載の複数成分塗料配合装置。
