Description
Claims (15)
- 電気化学セル用のキャップアセンブリであって、
タブ収集ポストと、
前記電気化学セルのコアに挿入されると共に前記タブ収集ポストを受容するように構成されるコアインサートと、
1つの端部において電気化学セルの電極箔に接続され、もう1つの端部においてタブ収集ポストと前記コアインサートに接続されるように水平に向けられる少なくとも1つの集電タブであって、前記少なくとも1つの集電タブが前記タブ収集ポストと前記コアインサートの間に配置されるように前記タブ収集ポストと前記コアインサートに溶接係合して配置される少なくとも1つの集電タブと、
を備えていることを特徴とする電気化学セル用のキャップアセンブリ。 - 前記タブ収集ポストと電気的に接続されるリベットと、該リベットと連結される蓋をさらに有している、請求項1に記載のキャップアセンブリ。
- 前記リベットが前記タブ収集ポストとの溶接係合を有している、前記タブ収集ポストが外部の電気的接続のための電力端子に前記リベットを介して電気的に接続されている、又は前記タブ収集ポストが外部の電気的接続のために前記リベットの開口部の中へ突出するネジ部分を有している、
請求項2に記載のキャップアセンブリ。 - 前記コアインサートと前記電気化学セルの中央コアの間に配置される衝撃吸収材をさらに有している、請求項2に記載のキャップアセンブリ。
- 前記タブ収集ポストが、前記集電タブの穴を通じて延び、前記コアインサートの穴内に配置される部分を有するピンを備えている、請求項1に記載のキャップアセンブリ。
- 前記集電タブが前記タブ収集ポストと前記コアインサートとのレーザ溶接係合を有している、又は前記少なくとも1つの集電タブが前記タブ収集ポストとのレーザ溶接係合と前記コアインサートとの抵抗溶接係合を有している、
請求項1に記載のキャップアセンブリ。 - 前記少なくとも1つの集電タブが、波形である、請求項1に記載のキャップアセンブリ。
- 請求項1に記載のキャップアセンブリ、電極箔、中央コア、およびセル缶を有し、前記セルがゼリーロール型リチウムイオンセルである、
ことを特徴とする電気化学セル。 - 前記少なくとも1つの集電タブに障壁を付与する絶縁体をさらに有している、又は前記キャップアセンブリが蓋をさらに有し、前記セルが前記集電タブと前記蓋の間に障壁を付与する溝が付けられた絶縁体をさらに有している、
請求項8に記載の電気化学セル。 - 前記中央コアが、第1の材料から作られ、前記セル缶が、第2の材料から作られ、前記第1の材料と前記第2の材料とが、同じ熱膨張係数を有している、請求項8に記載の電気化学セル。
- 電気化学セルを製造するための方法であって、
電気化学セルにコアインサートを取り付けるステップと、
少なくとも1つの集電タブの1つの端部を前記コアインサートの方へ折り曲げ、前記集電タブがもう1つの端部において前記電気化学セルの電極に接続されるステップと、
前記集電タブと前記コアインサートの上部にタブ収集ポストを配置するステップと、
前記タブ収集ポストを前記集電タブと前記コアインサートと溶接するステップと、
前記電気化学セルを覆うようにキャップ・サブアセンブリを配置するステップと、
を有していることを特徴とする方法。 - 前記キャップ・サブアセンブリが、リベットを含み、
前記方法が、電気的接続を形成するために前記リベットを前記タブ収集ポストと溶接するステップをさらに有している、請求項11に記載の方法。 - 前記タブ収集ポストと前記集電タブと前記コアインサートの溶接がレーザ溶接からなり、前記タブ収集ポストと前記集電タブと前記コアインサートの溶接が、前記タブ収集ポストと前記集電タブのレーザ溶接と、前記集電タブと前記コアインサートの抵抗溶接とからなる、
請求項11に記載の方法。 - 前記コアインサートのまわりに衝撃吸収材を配置するステップをさらに有している、請求項11に記載の方法。
- ネジ接続又は溶接接続を用いて端子ストラップまたはスタッドを前記キャップアセンブリと接続するステップをさらに有している、請求項11に記載の方法。
