Claims (2)
- 軸線方向に延び先端側が閉じた有底筒状の検出素子であって、先端側に検出対象ガス中の特定成分の検出を行うための検出部を有し、後端側の内周面上に、前記検出部から出力が伝わる電極部が形成された検出素子と、
前記検出素子の筒穴内に挿入された棒状のヒータであって、発熱抵抗体と、該発熱抵抗体を埋設してなるセラミック基体と、前記セラミック基体の外表面に配置され、前記発熱抵抗体と電気的な接続を行う電極パッドと、前記電極パッドにろう材によって接合され、外部回路との電気的な接続を行う端子部材と、を備えたヒータと、
少なくとも前記検出素子の筒穴内に挿入されると共に、前記ヒータを取り囲む筒状の出力端子であって、前記検出素子の前記電極部に電気的に接続すると共に、前記電極パッドよりも先端側で前記ヒータと接触する出力端子と、
を備えたガスセンサにおいて、
前記電極パッドと前記発熱抵抗体とを電気的に接続する、前記電極パッドの軸線方向中央よりも先端側および後端側に形成される2以上のスルーホールをさらに備え、
前記軸線方向における前記電極パッドの長さをLとすると、3mm≦L≦5mmであり、
前記電極パッドの前記端子部材と対向する接合面に対して、前記2以上のスルーホールのうち、後端側に形成されたスルーホールの形成位置のみに前記端子部材が存在するように、前記端子部材は前記接合面の軸線方向中央よりも後端側にずらして接合され、
前記ろう材は、前記電極パッドの先端部に存在しないことを特徴とするガスセンサ。 - 前記ろう材は、Agを主成分とするものであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のガスセンサ。
