Description
また、カール部の表面には、口金部の成形およびカール部の成形の際に内面の塗膜がよれて皺となることによる凹凸が形成される場合がある。
凹凸検出装置10で検査される缶20は、円筒部にネジ部が形成された口金部21(たとえば直径38mm)を有し、製造ラインにおいてコンベア11によって単列搬送されている。この缶20の製造ラインにおける単列搬送路の途中に、凹凸検出装置10が備えられている。すなわち、この凹凸検出装置10は、搬送中の缶20を停止させたり回転させたりせずに、口金部21の凹凸を検出できる装置である。
図1に示すように、缶20は、コンベア11によって搬送されながら、凹凸検出装置10を通過する。このとき、凹凸検出装置10は、第1照明手段30および第2照明手段40によって缶20の口金部21の天面21aを照明し、撮影装置50によって天面21aを撮影する。

Claims (2)
- ライナー付キャップを被嵌するために開口端を外方へ向かってカールさせたカール部が設けられた口金部を有し、単列搬送される缶について、前記口金部の天面の凹凸を検出する装置であって、
前記缶の側方から、前記口金部の前記天面に対して略水平に第1照明光を照射する第1照明手段と、
前記缶の上方から、前記口金部の前記天面に対して略垂直に第2照明光を照射する第2照明手段と、
前記缶の上方に配置され、前記口金部の前記天面を撮影し、この天面における反射光を検出する撮影装置とを備え、
前記第1照明手段は、前記口金部の外周側に、その周方向に略等間隔をおいて3個以上配置され、
各第1照明手段から照射される前記第1照明光は、各光軸が前記口金部の側方から前記天面上に略水平にかつ前記口金部の円筒面接線方向に沿うように、各光軸が互いに一致しないように照射されることを特徴とする缶の凹凸検出装置。 - 前記第1照明光および前記第2照明光は、いずれも単色光であり、互いに補色の関係を有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の缶の凹凸検出装置。
