Claims (8)
- 反射型背面と、
各々のLCアクティブ層内に周辺光が部分的に吸収され、他の部分は、散乱され及び前記LCアクティブ層を透過して前記反射型背面により反射されるように構成された、前記反射型背面上に積層され、色素がドープされた複数の液晶層と、
を備え、
前記液晶層が、スメクティックA液晶を備え、それぞれの前記液晶層が、一方側または両側が透明性電極材で覆われた保護基板の間に挟持されている、ディスプレイのための液晶構造体。 - 前記スメクティックA液晶が、プラスチック基板に閉じ込められている、請求項1に記載の構造体。
- 前記プラスチック基板が複屈折(birefringent)プラスチックを備える、請求項2に記載の構造体。
- 前記反射型背面に最も近接した前記液晶層と前記反射型背面との間に光学的デカップリング不連続性をさらに備える、請求項1に記載の構造体。
- 前記反射型背面上に積層された、第1、第2及び第3のスメクティックA液晶層を有し、各々の前記スメクティックA液晶がそれぞれの色を吸収するように構成された、請求項1に記載の構造体。
- 前記第1、第2及び第3のスメクティックA液晶層の各々は、シアン、マゼンタ、およびイエロー、または、赤、緑、および青のそれぞれ一つの色素がドープされている、請求項5に記載の構造体。
- 前記スメクティックA液晶層は、光学的に連続的に相互が結合されている、請求項5に記載の構造体。
- 前記反射型背面に最も近接した前記第3の前記スメクティックA液晶層は、前記反射型背面に対して光学的に不連続に結合された、請求項5に記載の構造体。
