Claims (6)
- 間隔をもって互いに対向配置される上部基板及び下部基板と、
前記上部基板上に形成されたアノード電極及び蛍光層と、
前記上部基板と前記下部基板との間に位置し、前記電界エミッタから電子放出を誘導し、前記放出された電子が通過することができる開口部が形成された金属ゲート基板と、
前記下部基板上に間隔をもって形成される複数個のデータ電極と、
前記データ電極上に形成され、所定の個数おきに前記データ電極を露出させる露出領域を有する絶縁層と、
前記絶縁層上に形成され、前記露出領域を通じて前記データ電極に電気的に連結されるカソード電極と、
前記カソード電極上に形成される少なくとも1つの電界エミッタと、
前記露出領域上であって、前記下部基板と前記金属ゲート基板との間及び前記上部基板と前記金属ゲート基板との間に各々形成された絶縁体スペーサと、
を含み、
前記データ電極は透明な導電性物質からなり、互いに電気的に分離された前記カソード電極を基準にして各々のカソードブロックが定義され、前記データ電極を通じて入力される電流によって各々の前記カソードブロックの輝度調節が可能であり、
前記露出領域は各カソードブロックに対して形成され、各カソードブロックと前記データ電極は前記露出領域を通じて一対一で互いに対応して電気的に連結されていることを特徴とする電界放出型バックライトユニット。 - 前記透明な導電性物質は、ITO、IZO、ITZO及びCNTのうちいずれか1つであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の電界放出型バックライトユニット。
- 隣接する前記各々のカソードブロックが電気的に分離されるように、前記絶縁層上に前記カソード電極が未形成である分離領域を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の電界放出型バックライトユニット。
- 前記カソード電極は、光を遮断することができる導電性物質からなることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の電界放出型バックライトユニット。
- 前記電界エミッタは、炭素ナノチューブ、炭素ナノ繊維及び炭素系合成物質のうちいずれか1つからなることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の電界放出型バックライトユニット。
- (a)透明な基板上にブロック単位の輝度調節のためのカソードブロックを定義する段階と、
(b)各々の前記カソードブロック上に互いに間隔を有する複数個のデータ電極を形成する段階と、
(c)各々の前記カソードブロックに形成されたいずれか1つのデータ電極を露出させる露出領域を有するように絶縁層を形成する段階と、
(d)前記絶縁層上に互いに間隔を有する複数個のカソード電極を形成し、且つ前記複数個のカソード電極のうちいずれか1つのカソード電極が前記露出領域を通じて前記データ電極に電気的に連結されるように形成する段階と、
(e)前記カソード電極が未形成である部分を除いて、前記形成されたカソード電極上にエミッタペーストを塗布する段階と、
(f)前記基板の下面に紫外線を照射した後、現像する段階と、
を含む各段階により製造される請求項1に記載の電界放出型バックライトユニット。
