Description
本発明の別の目的は、−30℃未満、−100℃未満、更には−150℃未満のような極低温条件下で流体バリヤーとして使用するための代替材料を提供することである。
本発明の別の目的は、極低温流体用の容器、パイプ、タンク、導管及び洞窟のような、改良収容システムを提供することである。
引張り破断歪はDIN EN ISO 527に従って周囲条件で測定される。
本発明の特に好ましい実施態様では、プラスチック基材は熱可塑性材料である。熱可塑性材料が有利な点は容易に造形できることである。熱可塑性材料は、好ましくはポリエチレン、ポリプロピレン、ポリブチレン、ポリメチルペンテン、ポリイソブテン、又はそれらの共重合体又は三元共重合体、例えばEPDMよりなる群から選ばれたポリオレフィン、好ましくはポリプロピレンを含む。

このようなパイプの一実施態様では、少なくとも1つの内側流体バリヤー、好ましくは全ての内側流体バリヤーは、極低温流体が存在する間の温度変化によりパイプの縦方向変化に適応するように、延伸可能である。
本発明の実施態様を以下の非限定的図面を参照して説明する。
図1は、LNG、LPG及び液体窒素のような極低温液体の輸送用パイプ2の概略断面図を示す。パイプ2は、耐負荷性外殻30と、該耐負荷性外殻30の内側に、中央流体導管100の周りに同中心的に設けた流体バリヤー10とからなる。
下記表Iに前記複合材CurvTM C100Aの多くの特性を示す。
通常、図2に例示したようなパイプ2aは、同中心的に、
厚さが1〜10mmの範囲の第一内側流体バリヤー10;
厚さが25〜250mmの範囲の第一環状体40;及び
厚さが25〜250mmの範囲の外側同中心層30;
を有する。
更に容器200は、2つの気密かつ液密の流体バリヤー210を有し、一方のバリヤーは容器200に収容された液化ガス205と接触し、他方のバリヤーは内側収容層240と外側収容層250との間にある。流体バリヤー210は前述のように複合材から作られる。複合材の好適な例は表Iに示した通りである。
図6は、本発明のサンドイッチ体300の概略断面図で、図1〜5で例示したようなパイプアッセンブリー2、2a、2b、2c又は貯蔵タンク200を使用してよい。
サンドイッチ体300はPVC、PUR等の熱絶縁材料層320、及び前述の複合材で作った流体バリヤー310からなる。流体バリヤー310は、接着剤結合、溶接又は溶融、その他、当業界で知られている好適手段で板310に結着してよい。
当業者は、発明の範囲から逸脱しない限り、多くの改変を行ってよいことを容易に理解している。

Claims (17)
- (a)周囲条件での引張りヤング率が50GPa未満であり、(b)周囲条件での引張り破断歪が5%以上である複合材の極低温条件下での流体バリヤーとしての使用であって、
前記引張りヤング率および前記引張り破断歪が周囲条件でDIN EN ISO 527に従って測定され、前記複合材が異なる物理的又は化学的特性を有する2種以上の構成材料から作った工学材料であり、かつ完全構造内の顕微鏡レベルで別々に又は異なって残存し、周囲条件がISO 554による標準大気条件である、
前記使用。 - 前記複合材の40℃での熱膨張係数が250*10−6m/m/℃未満である請求項1に記載の使用。
- 前記複合材の−196℃での引張り破断歪が3%以上である請求項1又は2に記載の使用。
- 前記複合材の−60℃での熱膨張係数が100*10−6m/m/℃未満である請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の使用。
- 前記複合材が単一材料の複合体である請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の使用。
- 前記単一材料複合体が熱可塑性材料であり、該熱可塑性材料は強化性繊維質相のような配向熱可塑性材料及び該配向熱可塑性材料間の基材の両方が同じ熱可塑性ポリマーを含む請求項5に記載の使用。
- 前記複合材が、5%以上の引張り破断歪を有する強化剤で強化したプラスチック基材を含む請求項5に記載の使用。
- 前記複合材が強化剤で強化したプラスチック基材である請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の使用。
- 極低温流体の収容、貯蔵、加工、輸送又は移送への請求項1〜8のいずれか1項に記載の使用。
- 請求項1〜7のいずれか1項に記載の複合材及び構造的支持体層からなり、極低温下で流体バリヤーとして使用するためのサンドイッチ体。
- 絶縁材料層(320)及び請求項1〜8のいずれか1項に記載の複合材で構成されるバリヤー(310)からなる、極低温下で流体バリヤーとして使用するためのサンドイッチ体。
- 請求項1〜8のいずれか1項に記載の複合材の少なくとも1層からなる極低温流体用収容システム。
- 耐負荷構造の外殻(215)、
該外殻(215)の内側に設けた、請求項1〜8のいずれか1項に記載の複合材からなる1つ以上の流体バリヤー(210)、
を少なくとも有する極低温流体(205)貯蔵用容器(200)である請求項12に記載の収容システム。 - 中央流体導管(100)の周囲に設けた、請求項1〜8のいずれか1項に記載の複合材からなる1つ以上の内側同中心流体バリヤー(10)、
外側同中心層(30)
を少なくとも有する極低温流体輸送用パイプ(2)である請求項12に記載の収容システム。 - 少なくとも1つの内側同中心流体バリヤー(10)と外側同中心層(30)との間に設けた、少なくとも1つの環状体(40)を更に含み、前記少なくとも1つの環状体(40)が1種以上の熱絶縁体で充填されている、
請求項14に記載の収容システム。 - 2つの内側バリヤーの少なくとも1つの隣接セット間、及び/又は最外側の内側流体バリヤー(11、12、13)と外側同中心層(30)との間に環状体(40、41、42、43)を有する2つ、3つ又は4つの内側流体バリヤー(10、11、12、13)からなる請求項12に記載の収容システム。
- 2つの内側バリヤーの各隣接セット間、及び最外側の内側流体バリヤー(11、12、13)と外側同中心層(30)との間に環状体(40、41、42、43)を有する2つ、3つ又は4つの内側流体バリヤー(10、11、12、13)からなる請求項15に記載の収容システム。
